It's a really nice drive out to Hollywood. The food is good and if the weather is fine there's an outdoor area. There is plenty of parking. We brought our Dog and ate outside. Ample covid precautions in place.

Nice pub with a great beer garden & friendly staff but unfortunately did not have a good dining experience. Two of us ordered the roast beef which was very disappointing. Tasteless and greasy with soggy vegetables. I did notice other meals being brought out which looked nice though so I would give it a second chance & maybe order something different next time.

WOW! Of all the time I’ve spent in Ireland, this is the first legit place that actually served a proper (chili) hot curry. It had just the right amount of heat to satisfy my craving and was asked if I wanted half chips and rice instead of all rice. Eh, YAH! Service is fantastic for this scenic pub and Guinness is spot on. The other guests in my party had the Christmas dinner, aka Turkey with all the goodies and the other had the fish and chips. Both loved their meals noting how tasty the fish batter was while the other loved the turkey with mash. If you are starving for a good meal and a pint, stop in and enjoy. Place is a gem!

Working in the area today and just wanted a quick bite. The soup and goat cheese and beetroot salad were tasty. But the bar staff were the least friendly I've ever come across.

Recommend and would go back. I was travelling with my two dogs in Wicklow, we were allowed bring the dogs into the back smoking area where we were served food and drink. Food was lovely and service was amazing. They really looked after us, even though we were out of the way. Very nice staff.

Made an impromptu visit to The Hollywood Inn on a wet Sunday drive. Didn't know anything about the pub / restaurant before visiting. We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our table. The staff are very friendly and good at reading their customers. Noticing we were a family of two adults and three kids they cleared the table of wine glasses and offered a jug each of water and blackcurrant. The menu was compact (which is good) while still offering enough choice. Daily specials were also on offer. The kids menu satisfied two of our three (soup and chicken gougons with chips or mash) with the eldest opting for a half portion of the roast dinner. I also has the roast beef which was melt-in-the-mouth. My wife had a Thai Red Curry. Portion sizes were decent and there was no issue with us asking for an extra portion of mash for our 4 year old. We were all very satisfied with our food. The chips are fresh, like chipper chips. Service throughout was excellent with water replaced without asking. This restaurant is not local to us but we will definitely pay another visit. It's always nice finding a new place to confidently go for food. Prices were on par with other pub / restaurants.

The food and portions at The Hollywood Inn were incredible. We were recommended to visit by our Airbnb, and it was a great recommendation. The atmosphere feels authentically Irish, and we seemed like the only tourists in the restaurant. The reason I cannot rate it 5-stars is because I felt the service was not great. Our waitress took our orders and then we never saw her again the entire night. I had to flag down another waitress to get our bill at the end of the night. However, it seemed like the waiting staff was giving every other table a lot of attention, which gave us a bad impression.

Always busy on the weekend. Worth waiting for a table if you haven't booked on the weekend. Food excellent and service excellent too. A nice place to go after a good walk at glendalough and turlough hill.

Enjoyed a really nice meal here with the family. Excellent chicken wings and the Smokies were gorgeous. They have a good kids menu, and the Guinness is the best I've had in a long time. Superb. There is a nice loop walk that starts/ends from beside the pub. 5km, 1.5 hours.

It's very nice here, the staff are very kind and kid-friendly, if your bored in there there's a couple things you can do, you can watch the tv and there's a lot football matches(Soccer) or talk to the friendly staff. The food is super good and tasty, I would recommend you going here.

Fantastic place with gorgeous food. Only arrived back after having lunch with my family,20/01/24 and still talking about the food. Son isn't a lover of fish but had the fish & chip dish which was haddock and absolutely loved it. Freshly made and delicious.. price wise with 2 starters and 4 mains it worked out very reasonable €84 which i would gladly pay again.. service was great,waitress was great and very helpful. Overall a fabulous place and highly recommended.. A+++

Very nice family meal out on no notice we were accommodated by mostly friendly staff. Nice choice and variety of meals, something to suit most palates. Waygu beef burger was very tasty as was fish meal. Fishcakes were divine and freshly cooked. Overall nice meal out and will return for deserts,baskets cheesecake next time for sure!

One of the most characteristic Village's Irish Pubs I've ever seen, with great pub food, great beers and authentic atmosphere including a big burning fireplace. Absolutely not to be missed if you are passing through there!!!

Went out for a Sunday drive and ended up in the Hollywood Inn, place seemed to be busy so we asked for a table for four, got one inside the door ,a bit chilly so we asked to move which wasn't a problem. Great menu, really tasty food a few drinks and desert ,staff were always there to advise and answer question's. Very enjoyable day and we'll definitely be back soon.
