J.This is certainly the best pub in town! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is excellent. There's plenty of beers on tap (I'm hoping they also add Guinness 0 soon).
There's a great atmosphere in the place, which is fostered by how well things are run overall.
The outdoor area is fantastic, and while it is good through winter, it really shines through summer. Definitely stop by for food and drinks when in Blessington.

P. M.Popped into the West Wicklow House for a quick bite. Ended up having three courses. The food was excellent, the atmosphere very comfortable, and the service was amazing. This was my first time in this pub/restaurant. It will not be my last. I will certainly be back. Strongly recommended.

Unfortinatly the only table free was a 'barrel table' with high stools, which was not the more comfortable but for showing uo with no booking, jts better than not getting in. Out food was served very quick and was very nice. The price is not too bad.

N. T.Amazing chicken wings here. I got the honey BBQ wings. For mains I got the famous combo, which was Cajun chicken, ribs and sides. It was a proper feed. Staff are very friendly here too. Very cosy place and there is plenty of parking outside. Definately worth a visit of your passing by.

Staff were very good, very nice and helpful, food was lovely, didn't have to wait very long, two adults and two grown up kids, all plates emptied, good desert selection, went down a treat. However I found the waitress who served us was not very engaging or happy when serving us which was slightly off putting. Other than that it is definitely a nice place to get some food!

Called in for a meal on Saturday evening, sat in the outside area which was lovely.
Nice menu, and friendly staff. We had the burger and the Cajun combo. Both came out quickly and were nice but not amazing.
One of our desserts came wrong and nobody checked with us to correct it and we had to specifically ask for it to be taken off the bill even though it was clearly not touched.
I would recommend this place but not as a must visit.

The food was a very healthy portion and for the price (Chicken Roast) very reasonable. Anybody looking for lunch or dinner in the town should try this venue you out. J. C.I wont lie, I eat here a lot. Its my favourite place to eat in the town. I always think its like a sports bar but with a real sense of character and history. Its a great spot to have a drink and watch a match with some friends. Always seems to be something going on at the weekends with great live music almost every weekend. The staff have always been nice and great with my son. I like the coffe here to but feel the quantity is never enough, in other words I wish the cups were bigger. Thankfully this is not a problem I have ever had with the food as the portion sizes are good. On occasion when i cant finish my full plate staff have always offered to wrap up my food to go.

K. O.Waitress said hello as we walked in which is always a great start. The sauce on the chicken Wings are amazing but the wings themselves are very small with very little meat on them. Other that that it's a great spot.

B. P.It's our every end of trip. We like to go there every time that we come from a trip from South or West Ireland. We always add the Wicklow house in our route. We love the file steak sandwich and the BBQ ribs. Everything there is delicious and the family atmosphere is so cozy. I recommend it to all my friends and I take all my visits there even living in Dublin.

P. B.Was there Friday evening for a bit to eat as we were on tour in de camper. We were looking at the menu when Joe (I think it's Joe) came over to take our order. What followed was something we never experienced before. He sat down with us and spent some time going through our order, telling us how it's prepared and cooked. Afterwards we asked him for directions to a particular spot and he came out onto the street to show us where to go. All this while the pub was busy. Customer service at it's best. My server was helpful. The crowd was made of families with young kids (Saturday PM) and more senior lads alike since a rugby match was on. I would return for coffee or a drink if in the area.

Service was good and friendly, we were a group of 5. Seafood chowder was fine, with plenty of fishy chunks and there were some lunchtime deals on offer.
