The pub itself has an old pub feel to it and is warm and inviting. The best feature is probably the staff who are very friendly and attentive! Would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

N. S.To the young lady (Gingerman staff) that helped my mother yesterday a massive thank you. My Mum took a tumble near The Gingerman yesterday and thankfully no major injury apart from a cut on her nose and a couple of slightly black eyes and a bruised knee. But Mum has MND and thus difficulty verbally communicating. The young lady in question went off and got her some water and a cup of tea. There was also a group outside of which a nice young fellow (her words 😊) helped her up. Thank you to all concerned xx

The staff were immediately friendly and helpful even though they were super busy, found me a nice spot at the bar and a drink while I had a look at the menu. M. K.Food is always tasty. Not a massive menu but it doesn't need to be -what's on it is always good. And there's daily specials too. Pub is the traditional Irish type,cosy,welcoming and with very friendly staff. Walk in service-no need to ring and reserve (despite the inclusion on menupages.ie) and there's a wide range of beverages to choose from. Quite reasonably priced too.

J. G.Have been coming here for a few years and I always get the steak sandwich! It is absolutely fantastic! They also do a really good seafood chowder and a lovely full Irish breakfast.
They have a great family atmosphere, although they are often times crowded.
