A MUST VISIT ! 5 STARS Each summer, my friends and I take a day trip to Ardmore. This year, we visited Urchin Bar and had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. With the various covid restrictions in place, the bar was well equipped with the necessary covid protocols in place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. In particular, twin girls called Rebecca and Kaitlyn were super helpful! They were both very mannerly and warm. Overall, I cannot complain about the service but only commend it for its high standards. I would definitely recommend Urchin for other holidays goers and people visiting on day trips to Ardmore!

This bar is a welcome addition to Ardmore. So family orientated and covid friendly. The staff can't do enough for you. As a parent with a child with special needs who loves the social side, I can't speak highly enough about the place. Can't wait to visit again ❤

The Urchin is one of the best bars in Waterford if not the best! Enjoyed a few wonderful evenings in the urchin bar on my staycation this summer! Customer safety in this pandemic was evident throughout staff wearing Covid Ppe and sanitizers everywhere all staff fully following government covid19 guidelines. Great friendly staff excellent fast efficient service! Great atmosphere in a lovely decorated outdoor setting! Can’t wait to return in the near future and hopefully get the chance to enjoy a drink indoors

Lovely food, pizza was fab and toasted sandwiches were delicious. Unfortunately the rest of our experience wasn’t the best. Bathrooms were filthy, service was slow, glasses were so dirty, wouldn’t clear tables of empty glasses. Also really could do with heaters outside. Could be an amazing spot but really letting themselves down.

The pizza was very nice there are regular chips their also the pizza comes with 6 slices. The entrance can be found at the main road of Ardmore and another near the beach close to the playground by find the title bar & adventures.

I've been back to the Urchin and seen the whole set up and I can honestly say the place has been transformed into a beautiful and vibrant establishment.Was in the Urchin last week and to my surprise there was security on the door.. We'll that's OK but when it came to closing time these people were hounding people to drink up and leave. Ignorent and rude these guys were.. People actually got up and left their drinks after them. To say I'm disgusted is an under statement. When people can't go for a quite drink in the middle of the week is a poor reflection on this establishment

This is a great place. Lots of separate rooms, a large covered in outdoor area, live music and very inviting feeling. We were in twords the rear of the pub by the back entrance with live music and great craic.
