A. K. T.A great dinner in the middle of the day,I had bacon, cabbage,mashed potatoes,fresh carrots and turnips covered in parsley sauce. It was ages since I had this and it was perfect. My husband had a BLT and chips. Very clean, great service, thanks to all.

D. O.I was here yesterday for the reopening of Jack Whites after lockdown, the beer garden is massive with plenty of benches and they are all spaced out well. Pints were delicious and the fish and chips were tasty from the food van. Great place to stop off and great prices.

H. M.I went to jack whites this evening 3rd of jan ! Lovely girl called Robyn served us. The food was absolutely fab must say and the service was kind friendly and quick. 3 course meal was excellent and the place was warm and cosy. The young waitress that served us had upmost respect and was absolutely hilarious definitely will be visiting again.

My disappointment was that they are not checking covid certs properly. They are scanning whatever barcode you show them with an app, but not checking your ID to see that it matches your covid cert. We all know that non vaccinated people are showing false covid certs/ screenshots of other people's certs, to gain entry to restaurants, pubs and hotels. If you don't do it right there is no point doing it at all. The pubs continue to let us down in the fight against covid. I have visited 5 establishments briefly ,for food and drinks, in the run up to Christmas, and not 1 if them were checking covid certs properly.
The lasagne my wife had was quite nice but the fries were a bit undercooked. A bit of a clever colurful salad garnish would lift all the dishes,both in appearanceand and taste. The small dish of red slaw served as the only accompaniment, was smaller than a standard ramequin size, but was tasty.

F.So we came here on a whim, just said let's go to Jack Whites, it is a beautiful today as I'm writing this and am sitting here just after finishing my main course of a sizzling steak served beautifully on a bed of mushrooms and onions with pepper sauce on the side and a bowl of chips and veg on the side. Well it was top notch. Delicious and delicious again. Service was excellent, our waitress Maguirette was delightfully friendly and efficient and yes we will be back again. Value excellent. Quantity perfect. Just a massive vote from me.
A. C.The food at Jack White’s Inn for three courses (for adults and children) is very good value. Well made and nicely presented. We were there on a busy Sunday and sat at the back of the restaurant, the service was a little slow. It took 20 minutes for them to clear our main away.
The free parking is a big bonus.

D. L.Due to the pandemic Jack White's Inn isn't open but that hasn't stopped them. They've created a place in the carpark where you can order coffee, limited selection of meals and breakfast baps etc. They called it... Jack's in the box! What a cool name 😁
You can eat in their 'beer' garden or of course take the food away. The staff weren't all that friendly and the service a little slow but the breakfast bap I had was delicious and cost €5.
A nice touch is they have a bowl of water outside for our canine friends.

I drove past it many times while the motorway was being built and jumped at the chance to go in and eat there when I got the chance.
Despite the throwback exterior the interior is very modern and well maintained.
The food was OK (the fish & chips looked fantastic) and was very reasonably priced. Particularly on Sundays.
I'm glad I stopped in and I would recommend Jack White's for families, but I'll probably keep moving next time.

Excellent breakfast around. To have but a Half a breakfast sure does suffice unless you need the fuller breakfast then go hungry.
The owner and team great. Collect & drop locals and summer visitors to and from their mobile park homes.

People in beer garden using back door to come in and out to toilets. Signage needs to be made clearer and possibly staff to make it clear when people coming in and out of beer garden, to comply with rules. Not fair on those doing as they are asked. Otherwise would recommend . Great place to eat.

Excellent value for a 3 course meal at €16.50 with very generous portions and the kids menu was extensive with great healthy options included not just your "nuggets and chips" for example. Anyway we sat down and had our order taken very fast. We ordered fish and chips and a lasagne and chips which was brought to us so quickly. The portion size was very good and all mains at the time we went were 13.50 each. The staff were quite friendly. I would reccomend this place.

Cordial should be free or .50 cents maximum but tell the customer first. I was never charged before until now. It's the principal. I would have bought a soft drink if I knew a cordial was 2 euro.

S. Q.We brought our 3 year old and one year old. With small kids food needs to be served quick. We ordered a chicken curry half and half kids portion as soon as we arrived. It came out 5 minutes later and was plenty big for 2 kids and they devoured it. We had soup and turkey and ham and both were delicious. The service is excellent and the food is very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

The food is both good and plentiful.....no half measures here. Although the staff are extremely busy most days they are always very pleasant and jovial. Its pub grub here to a high standard and parking is free and ample. Its a stones throw off the M11 and it would be advisable to book in advance at weekends and bank holidays.

There was no other option only the fresh fish. When we questioned it we were told it was in the small print. Felt ripped off and won't be returning!!! Toilets not great either.
a. w.Our young waitress was so lovely and the food was really nice. However the grumpy woman we paid spoiled the atmosphere. We had three courses, main, dessert and coffee instead of starter, main and dessert. This was a set menu price and all agreed in advance. She made such a big deal over it at checkout and called the waitress over in front of us to give out to her for the way she entered it on the system. Very awkward! Then I used the bathroom and there was no running water! Just some dirty used water in a bucket in the sink. The place was packed and we were supposed to share water to wash with? Yuk!
B. F.Absolutely fabulous food great options in the menu. They do an adults 3 course meal at €15.95 and they have a children's option of this too at €9.95. The kids love it and felt so grown up picking starters, main and dessert. We were served by Rohan he was really helpful and had a bit of banter with the kids would most definitely be going back again and highly recommend it for food atmosphere and friendly staff.

I got the burger which was definitely pre cooked as it was dry and bland. The carvery roasts that the other people with me got looked good but can't back up taste for myself.

S. K.Just off the M11, this place is a treat! Excellent food, always fresh, hot and tasty. There is a good variety of options available and even special offers on 2 and 3 course meals. This place can get quite busy, particularly on a Sunday so a quick call ahead might be worth your while.
A. W.Food is very good value for money with the 3 course for 14.95 but when ordering we where rushed a little bit. But apart from that service was very good. Biggest issue though that makes me drop buy 2 stars is the state on the men's toilets especially the one behind the main bar it's discusting infact it's makes you hurl when you walk in. The the other toilets that's not as.bad but still grubby. Someone needs to show you how to clean floors doors and pedestals, especially in bar that is more food related.

C. H.This place is iconic! After a long day at the beach it was such a relief to find a nice place to tuck in for a hearty dinner. I got the sizzling pepper chicken, stole some bacon wrapped chicken and chicken goujons off my friends and they were all delicious! The sizzling chicken potion was a bit small but apart from that, all the staff were lovely and food came quickly. Then I had a portion of chips and my friend's, yum! The ketchup to mayo ratio was a bit imbalanced and the ketchup didnt taste great but for dessert I had an ice cream sundae and tea and they were absolutely fabulous!!! It's a bit silly, but I've been looking forward to coming here for months! Absolutely wonderful place with cosy atmosphere, will definately come again.

I had the roast pork for main which was nice enough. The pork was moist and cooked well and plenty of it. The major downfall was the watery over cooked veg that came with it.
I decided to treat myself to the homemade pavlova. This was a major disappointment! The pavlova was indeed homemade which made me think yay happy days. Sadly all the hard work that went into making it was destroyed with the fact that it was then covered in the horrible red and yellow coulis (and I mean covered), and the piece de resistance what tasted like tinned strawberries. Surely during summer in the southeast fresh strawberries really isn't too much as for. I tried to scrap.some of the coulis and the strawberries off but the cream was so saturated in it that it wasn't possible and plain merginterested is not what I wanted or asked for. 10 minutes later with my plate still sitting in front of me and barely touched even though several members of staff have passed my table no one has approached me to see if everything is OK or asked why I haven't eaten it. Nowill there are a few people around but believe me when I say it is by no means busy. I haven't even been asked if I would like a coffee - I did want one but not now. Oh and 15 minutes later still waiting...
Finally went up to pay and when I told Grainne that I was unhappy with the dessert she did not charge me for it. She said they did use fresh strawberries. Sadly the excessive coulis made this impossible to discern.
I would like to say that Grainne was lovely and she did appear to one of the few staff working hard...
