The food was good, although the sausage was a tiny bit overdone. We had the breakfast bap (was good) and the mini breakfast (was good). The service was friendly. The ladies toilet (at least the one I used) could use a new seat.

Stunning food. I had the fish box. Really nice calamari rings, higher prawns and a stunning deep fried fish fillet. We all enjoyed our meal so much. Could not recommend the food here more. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

What a lovely place. The food is gorgeous (cheesecake to die for , fish box highly recommended!), but most importantly the staff… everyone in this place was so so nice ! We went there with our dog and he was treated like little royalty. Next time we are in the are definitely we will stop by!

It was our first time in Arklow and this was the only pub we needed. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly man who found us a seat straight away which is rare in Covid times. Myself and my partner are vegan and they had a delicious falafel burger as a vegan option! Friendly staff and great service with a fantastic local vibe. We'll definitely come back!

Very well run pub. Food and service was excellent but more importantly fully covid compliant. Sean and his team are running a fantastic place here and I'd recommend it to everyone. If you have any fears entering any pubs in the arklow area due to covid I'd recommend visiting the old ship as the minute you enter the doors your fears will be put to rest.

Lovely pub food. Friendly professional staff. Nice atmosphere. They also have a great music scene here too. Only dropping a star as the furnishings are a bit dated and could really do with a bit of a face lift.

Had dinner on sun 4th Sept, very disappointed. Servings very small had to return one meal as it was small enough to suit a child. And not cheap, we had the special roast dinner and it was dearer than other places we'd eaten. Service was good though. Update: went back to The Olde Ship for dinner and had a wonderful experience, food and service was very good. Sean remembered me from before which was lovely. I guess anyone can have an off day. Highly recommend 👌

I really love the reception I get when I go in. Well looked after served straight away and the food is really good at a great price it's clean and homely. I love the chicken with mild chili garlic sauce served on a bed of rice only 10 euro I can get a dinner of beef with potatoes and veg for 10 euro to take away . Delicious !

Brilliant venue for a late night party. If you want local talented musicians and an overall great vibe, you won't go wrong at The Old Ship! Haven't tried any of the food or drink, so take that into account. But for the presentation and overall atmosphere, it's five stars from me!

Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. The toilets are clean. I'm a nonsmoker however they have a large outdoor covered smoking area. They do a great cup of coffee and have a good variety of musical performers playing at the weekends.
