S. L.Food is good enough, nothing special, but hospitality could improve. I didn't feel welcomed nor my husband. Four years living in Ashbourne and this was my first time there, probably would go back only if I'm invited by friend which is a pity since we don't have many options around here.

E. F.I’ve lived in Ashbourne for many years and I’ve never visited Chrissie’s until today and I was very impressed. The food was excellent, staff friendly and efficient and the decor is lovely and it is exceptionally clean. The food is fresh and tasty. I will definitely be a regular diner now. Their sour dough bread is delicious.

B. J. K.Nice spot in Ashbourne for coffee and a bite to eat. Staff are very friendly and his at their jobs. Menu is not very comprehensive but covers the bases well. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. Extra toast, coffee etc is quickly forthcoming and, again, not expensive. Plenty of parking nearby Recommended
J. L.Chrissie's do a lovely breakfast and I've only ever gone there for their Full Irish. But the lunch I had there wasn't great; a chicken burger that was mainly consisted of two perfectly circular, straight-from-a-packet patties of minced chicken covered in bright orange breadcrumbs.
Full of either water or fat (I assumed water) that made them molten hot, packed with fresh lettuce and tomatoes that just fell out because it just slipped off the surface of the patty.
The atmosphere and decor isn't great, it looks 10-15 years old, probably because it is. The chips were nice and everything is fairly fresh but I just felt the chicken burger was one of the laziest dishes I'd ever eaten in Ashbourne, which has a lot of competition for lunch places.
M. M.A lovely well-run cafe/grill tucked into a corner of the plaza off High Street. Nice atmosphere, very clean environment. Perfect place to park up and have Breakfast or Lunch, or just a coffee/tea with the family/girls after shopping locally.
Very popular with the local business/retail community for a 'quick bite' at lunchtime.👍💕
