I put in a special order for a Hawaiian burger with vegan patties and the waitor even thought to offer me vegan cheddar with my order. Fantastic food that won't disappoint. Very reasonable prices for the quality and portion sizes. Good selection of cocktails and deserts. Huge range on the menu to suit all different tastes. Delicious fresh ingredients.

B. K.First time back indoor dining in over 18 months. Absolutely not disappointed. Small mix up with booking was dealt with professionally and courteously by staff. When we sat down we were dealt with by Shannon who couldnt be more helpful or kinder. The food was beyond delicious. My son is a vegetarian and said his herbivore burger was one of the best hes tasted. I usually like fish but there was none on menu so I went for the duck breast on a bed of cabbage and brocollini with boiled potatos and raisin sauce. Perfectly cooked and the chef had asked Shannon to check which way I liked it and recommended medium rare which is my preference anyway. It was absolutely delicious. I chose a minervois wine that was on special and it was a steal. Really excellent wine.
Overall 5 stars. Highly recommended. Will be back. Thanks La Bucca.

S. J.One of the most popular restaurants in the Ashbourne area. Family friendly with great food. My favourites are the Peri Peri Chicken Wings and Lemon and Chilli Chicken Pasta. Very good value and highly recommended.

Lovely Lily took my order & was just fantastic, was able to tell me their favourite meals wit side of garlic flatbread..
Lily then called my sis to surprise her and allowing her to choose a pick-up time to suit them..

They also do a collect take away too. Best takeaway anywhere. Try the burgers, hand made, amazing, loads of different ones too. Pizzas are great too and pasta dishes.

A. S.A really nice Italian restaurant offering a varied menu. They do a good early bird menu. The service was very attentive, something which is lacking in a lot of Irish restaurants. It’s a good place for families, groups or couples. It was lively on a Friday night and quite busy so I would say booking a table is recommended

R. O. C.Chicken wings perfect. Chicken pasta carbonara very bland. Strawberry pavlova was more like a Strawberry sundae. We weren't overly impressed with the food except for the Chicken wings but, the service was excellent.
M. K.Nice place, completely unassuming from outside, but a real hive of activity and atmosphere inside. Menu is varied enough to have something for everyone but more importantly the pizza and pasta have gluten free options. Portions are just about right. Filling without being too much. Child friendly staff are a great bonus as well. Well worth a visit.
S. R.I have eaten here a number of times and found the food average. The main portions are very large especially the pasta. The main issue I had was with the man who was behind the till - I found him rude and patronising when we asked for our table that we had booked for certain time and wasn't ready I was told that patience is a virtue. Therefore customer service - poor.
P. S.This was my first visit to La Bucca, on the occasion of my brother's birthday. The restaurant itself is nicely docorated, giving a pleasant ambiance. The staff were friendly and efficient but I found that I didn't enjoy certain aspects of my meal. I realize that this was down to my choice, but there remains an issue in the way the meal was prepared and served. I wouldn't let this stop me returning, I just wouldn't order the same dish.

Spent a good half hour waiting for my soup. €57.50 buys you dinner for two. No pickle on the burger. Soft drinks are €2.50 for 10cl. The dessert looks nice if you can afford it. Mostly blonde employees, so it'd really suit you if you're into that sort of thing. Walk Ind welcome if they can fit you

d. k.My husband and 1 year went last Sunday. It was lovely and relaxed. The staff were very attentive and polite. The food was fab. We shared a portion of wings. I had beef chilli salad and my husband had chilli burger. We left nothing on our plates. We will be back soon. It is a bit pricey compared to other resturants but worth it.

Nice options on early bird menu.
I had wings in hot piri piri sauce which was complimented by a cool pint of Erdinger.
The pizza was melt in your mouth delicious and properly seasoned.
The kids had a very tasty pasta and chicken gougons with fresh chicken.
Delicious deserts too and a nice touch to have a shared sundae with my wife.
My 3 year old made sure she asked for a lollypop on the way out from the big display 😊
