We were heading through Athlone and we stopped for the night. We headed into Sean's bar for the evening, and we ordered food from Handsome Burger. Between the four of us we got the Cauliflower Bites, the Bhaji Burger, the Straightshooter, and the B.O.B, all served with a side of fries - And everything was fantastic. The fries were particularly tasty, very nicely seasoned. If we're back in Athlone again we'll definitely be dining again.

I've always liked this place. Good stop while I'm out and they make a great burguer. They have all kinds if options and they are all pretty good.

I could see how they won 'best burger in Ireland'. Meat was beautiful and cooked to perfection. The options of burgers were great and could play to all taste buds. They could do with expanding their sauces as they had themselves restricted to mainly mayo based sauces but nothing to fuss over. The shop itself is very well designed and it will be lovely to sit down inside and enjoy a burger once all these restriction start to reduce properly. I'd highly recommend

It was getting embarassing how many times I uttered "oh my god" having their parmesian maple bacon loaded chips. The burger was thick and meaty, not a smashburger. Seriously good food. Bring an appetite!
