An Asian restaurant in Athlone with a history of over seventy years according to them. However, they have managed to preserve their reputation quite well. Customers seem to give them top ratings and there are no reasons to disagree with them. My visit was purely because of my love for Thai food. I was surprised at how quickly they serve and how good it was. This is on top of most friendly staff services. The place was full to the capacity, though many more could be accomodated when the restrictions are over.

This is a little gem for thai food in Athlone with a very authentic feel to the restaurant with both the food and the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent its definitely on my list when I go to Athlone next

The food is ok 😊 but the staff are very courteous. They made us this for our anniversary. It was so sweet of them. The price is worth the items in the menu. They don't serve spicy food, so Indians who are looking to have hot and spicy food, it would be a sheer disappointment for them. Overall for a change one can go and have fine dining experience.

I went for the lunchtime deal, you get a starter and main so I got the oxtail soup, which is recommended in the menu, and the Khao Soi Gai, a coconut spiced noodle dish similar to Laksa. The oxtail had a lot of fat but the flavour was good. The noodles were very good with a satisfying rich sauce and topped with crunchy fried noodles and sliced scallions. I thought it was great to have coconut water in the drinks menu, it went really well with lunch.

I got Pork Shoulder Skewers for starter and Rich Ruby Prawn Curry (extra spicy) with Fried Rice for mains. I have to say it was the best curry I have had in Ireland. I thought 55 minutes was a long wait, but it was well worth it. Will definitely be returning ....BTW obviously takeaway

Had the express lunch menu, which was good value; however, the food was only average, not bad, but not amazing either. In fairness to them the Pad Thai did have a generous portion of good-sized prawns for the money. I found it odd that they serve the starter and main course together on the same plate (I suppose that's the express part...). Also, they charge for the filtered tap water (€2 per bottle), which I’m sure is written in the menu, but it was not mentioned when I ordered the first or second bottle. I guess I had higher expectations given that this restaurant is Michelin recommended. Reading the reviews, it seems like a lot of long-term loyal customers are being disappointed by recent changes, so maybe read some of the negative reviews if you are a regular. 3 Stars due to the good value for money, would have been 2 otherwise.

The food was really great and tasted almost like in Thailand! They are also open till pretty late (22 on a Monday) so it saved us from dying of hunger haha. The prices are a little bit too high (around 17 Euro for a curry) and we didn't like much the organization of the sitting area- didn't feel too cozy or intimate. Do ask about the level of the spiciness of the food. For me it was almost too much.

This is one of our favourite places - The staff is extremely courteous and the food is good quality and just fantastic. Vick, who is one of the serving staff here, is one of the best restaurant staff I have come across in ages. They are also very open hearted and will treat you to some goodies most of the time - I miss this restaurant and the staff as I moved out of Athlone - keep up the great work folks, love your food ! - definitely try them out if you are around Athlone - booking recommended during weekends

Food here is top quality, great atmosphere to sit in dine. I usually get take away here. If you're getting take away at the weekend, order at least 30 minutes ahead, the wait time can sometimes be very long, mainly because the food is so good everyone wants some. 😁I like that they got rid of the plastic containers for cardboard takeaway boxes 🥡 . The Panang Curry is excellent. 🥘

One of the best thai places i've been to in Dublin. The food is seriously delicious.. We were a group of 6 and just ordered a selection of 5 mains and duck pancakes (my favorite starter ever) to share amongst us.. As everything is served in little bowls it is perfect for sharing and being able to taste everything.

I had a lovely nice food in Kin Khao Athlone recently. Special starter Poached seafood wonton and Monkfish red curry both dishes very tasty and fresh. Staff are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to return here again.

A good choice of starters and main courses, and tasty, however,disappointing was the additional charge for the rice, surely it should be part of the main and not cost an extra €5.00, its a niggle with me that you pay €10 for a starter, €18 for a curry, €5 for a beer and then get this little add on when you get the bill. Service excellent, we had a table of 4 near by that were having an enjoyable evening but they seemed really loud and we could hardly hear each other speak! probably due to the low level ceiling on upper floor, doesn't help the acoustics.

We stopped in Athlone one evening on a boat trip on the Shannon. While strolling through Athlone we discovered Kannt so Thai and spontaneously decided to have dinner here. We were welcomed and served very friendly. The food was great and the price was also completely reasonable. Gladly again.

According to several guides it is the best ethnic restaurant in Ireland. The food is very good, but the prices are very expensive considering the type of food it is. For assorted starters for two people, a plate of rice with vegetables and chicken and two drinks the bill was €50 (in August 2018). In addition, the service is quite slow. The girls are just correct. I don't think it's worth it...

I recommend the menu for 2, 3, 4 or 6 which allows you to taste several dishes. The food is very good, sometimes spicy. The staff is attentive. I highly recommend!
