I was ordering from Yakisoba for a while now, no words to describe them. Best Asian restaurant in Athlone town by my opinion. Just road opposite of golden island, well worth visiting. Fist time dine in today,and service and food again delicious. Portions are big and can feed almost anyone. They have around 8 tables to dine in so on busy days probably best to call and reserve table. Love noodles from them, rice and chicken balls are very delicious. Tried Yemen soup today with beef. Beef was amazing, and dish was very good. Recomend to anyone without any doubt about it. 5*

Very delicious Asian restaurant with a very relaxing easy going atmosphere. You have the option to eat in or takeout. The meat is very tender and fresh. All's the meals are perfectly seasoned and spiced. Well worth a visit. I would really like to see chips being added as a side order in the near future as my kids aren't fond of rice or noodles unfortunately. (Picture added is takeaway portion) all meats and veg etc are of generous portions ;)

One of the good places to get Asian food in Athlone. It caters for both veg and non-veg options. We ordered Yaki Soba and Yaki Udon noodles and asked the staff to make it vegetarian. Being right in front of Golden Island Shopping Center, its very accessible. The ambience is very nice and simple and staff is quite friendly. One thing you have keep in mind that its cash only place, so make sure you confirm the total bill amount when ordering take away for collection or planning to eat in the restaurant itself and carry sufficient cash. Last but definitely not the least, the service is really quick here. We will be back soon.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Minimalist seating area bench style with the option for cutlery or chopsticks per your own preference. Price for the quality on offer is exceptional. My partner is trained as a chef and was also blown away - everything felt authentic, well seasoned, full of flavour with satisfying portion sizes. The chicken was so soft and succulent - great now I'm hungry for it again! Plenty of parking available beside and in Golden Island. I will definitely be returning as a customer and recommend to anyone!!! hope eventually there will be an option to use card but also there a bank(ptsb) ATM 1mins walk so even if you started to eat as a group a person would be able to pop to that for the cash.

Gluten intolerant or coeliac customers make sure you stress you need gluten free. Have been glutened several times here. Seems to be one excellent chef and one not great. Such a pity :(

The food here was gorgeous and service was fast and friendly. My friend and I both enjoyed our lunches. It didn't cost too much either. It was my first time here but it will not be my last. The next time I'm over in Athlone I hope I can drop in here again. Definitely a great place to go before doing a bit of shopping. I would highly recommend the Mee Goreng. It was very tasty and had the right spicy kick to it.

Regular customer. There's daily specials but if you're into Thai, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very nice and fairly priced. Usually get a take away so can't comment on eating in.

What a great new restaurant in Athlone. We had easy parking near the venue. Staff were friendly and professional throughout our visit. We had prawn, duck and curry beef mains with rice and veg. We shared between us and all had only praise for the food. Also, the cost was very reasonable. Can't recommend it more highly....worth a visit. 5 stars.

Average food most times, sometimes very nice, pad Thai on 04.07 was the best. Ringing for special as its sometimes posted late on Facebook, would be nice to know in advance before lunch.

I am a weekly visitor to the bistro. If it had the space it would be a great restaurant! Healthy Asian food , fusion of Chinese, Japanese and Thai mostly, presented to a high standard. Short but good Asian beer list.

Advertising itself as a street food establishment; the description sells short one of the best Japanese/Oriental restaurants I've had the pleasure to eat in. The seating is limited and functional and the decor is Spartan but with an elegant Japanese vibe. Menu is not elaborate and the beverages come from cans but the simplicity, freshness and taste of the food is awesome. Noodles (soba, udon or ramen) and elegant Japanese style rice are the mainstays here, with old favourites like Teriyaki, green and red curries and Pad Thai to the fore. In particular, I loved their prawns, the real deal, not the rubbery pinky deepfrozen ones that have become a sad staple in too many Chinese takeaways. Battered items also shine, done a la japonaise, crisp and tasty. Very affordable for the quality (Mains average E10). Well worth a visit.
