It was a good experience, the staff was friendly and the service was fast enough. We ordered a steak sandwich and the fish and chips, no complaints about them, but nothing out of the ordinary. It was a bit cold in the corner where we sat ourselves. We were asked to move and offered a better seat, we declined so I can only thank them and won't complain. We'll return for the visit.

Stopped in for breakfast and had a lovely experience. I had the French toast and Norie had scrambled eggs with avocado and both so fresh and delicious. Great stop in Killala

The new proprietor Peter was most welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and breakfast was well presented and delicious. My stay was four night so I met the serving staff Alva, Alison and the beautiful Rachel all were efficent and friendly.

Had breakfast in the Acres cafe. It was beautiful, well presented, fresh and most of all tasty. The menu is perfect, with something to keep everyone happy and full. Finolla and Avril were very friendly and the fresh bakes, delicious (you can't beat dessert after breakfast!) An asset to Killala and definately worth a visit if touring the wild Atlantic way. We will be back.

I stayed in The Acres last weekend and was made to feel like I was at home Peter and Finola are great hosts and are doing a splendid job having recently took over the place the room was spotless and the bed very comfortable great breakfast as well and great staff I will for sure be going back for another stay.
