Had a wonderful dinner here with a great view of the river. Food and atmosphere was excellent and staff was quite friendly. One recommendation for the business would be to change the flooring. Carpet in a restaurant is never a good idea. We would certainly come here again - excellent meal.

It was a misty night arriving at 22.00 into town. Most restaurants closed already. Saw the lights beside the river and it attracted my attention. Clean pleasant decor. Clean toilets. Excellent food and service. Pleasant staff. One of the young ladies spoke good Gaelic but no Chinese!!! The yuk sung was with chicken, tasted good but I prefer it with beef. The crispy duck and pancakes were superb. The house special curry had wonderful flavours and lots of meat. Won ton soup was light with really tasty morsels wrapped up in their noodle coats. Salt & pepper chicken wings tasted great. Chinese tea and Tsingtao beer. Recommend this as everywhere else had closed but happy with the result and would go again. Somebody had a birthday and they all came out with sparkler in the dessert and flashing lights. Nice touch. Try it.

Best place I have eating out of in mayo the staff are very helpfull and very nice always trying to help I had house special not one bad word to say cant even try and look beautiful meat melts in your mouth then the view over the river brings it all together perfect for a night out on the weekend or even a week day

My dinner was amazing, the restaurant has a view of the River, the staff are very polite and are always on hand, I have nothing to complain about, my boyfriend and I had an amazing night, the food was perfect, the background music, everything was great! It was definitely the best Chinese restaurant I visited in Ireland, I will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staffs for providing us with a great night!

Excellent, food is very good, take away very efficient and quick. Reataurant upstairs is very cosy with very relaxed atmosphere and nicely ornate. Staff are very friendly and helpful and will ensure you have a good experience. Views from the restaurant look out on the river Moy and across to the Cathedral. Public car park just at the rear ensures quick access. Highly recommend the spicy chicken wings, one of their signature dished.

Very elegant and great located restaurant with beautiful view on the River Moy. Definitely a 'Must Visit' place if you're in or from Ballina. Delicious food and friendly staff. I visited the Lantern on a multiple occasions and the food was always carefully prepared, nicely served and tasted really good at a fair prices. Highly recommended.

Love this place! The food is really good. Try the chicken dry hot and spicy! It’s the first take away I always order when I come to Ballina on Holiday. Had it twice in one week! Also the black bean and chicken chow mein are really good ! 👌🏻

The restaurant has moved to Emmet street since July 13! We ate 2 of the signature dishes, which were delicious. Nice and good service. The view along the river is magnificent. All in all we had a wonderful evening.
