Love this homely restaurant. Staff and food are superb. The Surf and turf is divine! Large portions so be sure to be hungry!! Dessert 🍨 Vanilla icecream drenched in Baileys with a biscuit crumb! Delish!!

Food is lovely and had a lovely young waiter But they need to improve on their welcoming skills the lady behind the bar on entering was extremely rude I get we all gave to be careful and follow covid rules but there is also a thing called respect for customers

We arrived around 5.30pm Valentines day without a reservation, we were given a table that had been booked for 6.45pm. We were promptly seated and the food and service were both great. We weren't able to eat all the food we were served, generous portions. We finished our meal and were on our way home by 6.40pm. Great time management and service, we'll be back 😁

Fabulous Food. Dined in Finn's at the weekend with some friends. Great selection of starters, Steaks were huge and cooked to perfection. Nice cosy atmosphere with friendly staff. Will definitely call again.

Lovely spot for family meal. Steak is really good and the menu is varied to suit most tastes. The staff are very welcoming and can't do enough for you and your party. Thoroughly recommended.

The restaurant always looked pleasant outside and I always wanted to try it. When I entered I was friendly greeted and seated by staff when all members were present. The starters were excellent with a great choice. I had ordered the garlic mushrooms they were delicious.Well presented with salad and a choice of sauces. The main arrived and I was surprised at how good it tasted. Beautiful succulent chicken and tasty sauces to accompany it. The dessert was unbelievable mouth watering I ordered the mixed berry crumble which did not disappoint. Family friendly place with great food.

Always wanted to visit this restaurant we've heard so much about it over the years. Incidentally John Finn was our chef at our wedding in 1992 so we were excited to try out the restaurant and sample the food. Overall it was very pleasant experience, the service was excellent and the food was good. We had three adults and one 12 year old, we had three courses with drinks. All was served hot and with little waiting time. Overall it was a pleasant experience pitty we didn't meet John maybe next time.

Been wanting to try this place for years... but found it to be overrated. Mains overpriced. Sirloin steak main meal not good. A big piece of meat but quality not there. The 'set' veg it came with not nice... so disappointing. Good big starters & desserts nice. Would prefer not to go there again.

Perfect for adults no half portions for children unless they both would agree on a main course then it could be split between them other then that nuggets and chips sausage and chips etc our children like proper dinner

Finns have proven to truly pass the test of time. My wife and I have seen restaurants come and go and many that survive are inconsistent and many more decline over time. John and Lucy Finn are professional and committed restauranteurs and they have never compromised on the quality of their food. The last meal, in fact every single meal, we have had there is as good as our first one which was several years ago. We visit Ireland from the states nearly every year and it is just very comforting to know that we get great food and experience a great homely and welcoming environment every time we visit. Well done to all at Finns

First time trying Finn's after hearing gret reviews over the years. I was not disappointed.... Two hungry men on our way from Galway to Ballina well fed and looked after exceptionally by Geraldine and her colleagues.. You won't leave hungry

Food cannot fault it , The only problem we want had ,was table for 6 ,when we were finally seated, at 6.25 told that the same table was booked again at 8 pm .so 90 min ,to eat up and move on , Now if the orders were taken quickly it may work ,but again our orders were not taken for about 20 min, so food come around 7 pm (like I said it was fine ) ,but u are watching the clock and cannot chill out and forget about time ,so come 7.45 main course over ,we decided to miss (sweet/ coffee) and leave .If u want to hurry people along get your staff up to speed , but the whole experience put a sour taste in my mouth
