Comfortable seating, very homey place with delicious and flavorful dishes. Although predominantly Indian cuisine, the owners wife, Mrs Rohana who is a Malaysian excels in many authentic Malaysian cuisine on demand as well. Good service and clean toilets as well. Well maintained grounds. Love their coffee as well.

Don't be put off by it's unassuming entrance or outdated decor, the Indian food here is the best I have ever tasted. The servings are large but you can take the left overs home for tommorow's lunch.Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Price is reasonable. Maybe not the place for a special occasion but absolutely perfect for your average weekend.

4 of us arrived late offa boat but they accommodated us with very kind welcoming words. Our meals and everything else was 100% perfect. We found this restaurant by accident but we were so glad. Owners really nice. I would highly recommend the fresh salmon and this restaurant.

Had a meal here last week with my wife. The service was excellent and the meal was top notch at a very reasonable price. I had duck and my wife had fish. Both were first class and generous size. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The naan bread was good the korma sauce was ok but over sweet and the mixed tandoori grill, aside from the one prawn, was just plain bad. It might have been that I was unlucky and the chef had an off night but it's worth knowing these nights happen. The girl behind the bar was very nice and friendly.

I give this place four stars because i liked it . The food was beautiful . ( i had the chef's special ) . I needed help to make up my mind and the chef came to my table to assist me . My wife struggles with vegetarian food normally but again she was given great options . I have been there a few times and have never been dissapointed . Thank you Modena .

We had a Surf & Turf, a duck, lamb and Thai curry. Everything wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly overwhelming either. The meat in the S&T was a bit tough. There was a lack of salt and pepper everywhere. At least the food wasn't expensive. It was edible but next time I would eat elsewhere. (Original) Es gibt in Portumna nicht viele Möglichkeiten zu essen. Wir haben uns kurzfristig für dieses Lokal entschieden. Es macht einen recht ungepflegten Eindruck. Es handelt sich um ein Indisch-Irisch-Sonst was Restaurant. Sehr bunt gemischte Küche. Wir hatten ein Surf&Turf, eine Ente, Lamm und Thai Curry. Alles war zwar nicht schlecht aber auch nicht gerade überwältigend. Das fleisch im S&T war etwas zäh. Es fehlte überall Salz und Pfeffer. Zumindest war das Essen nicht teuer. Es war essbar aber beim nächsten Mal würde ich woanders essen.

Nicht falsch verstehen. Wir mögen Irland sehr und sind einmal im Jahr da. Aber da wir oft auch in kleinen Orten sind, ist das heute eine echte Burger Abwechslung gewesen.

(Translated) Beware of large portions. We ordered soup chowder which was just wonderful. Measures with rustic soda bread and butter. A very huge and very filling dish. We split it in two and were already pretty full. We then ordered salmon in Indian sauce, garlic rice and Indian grill mix. The salmon is delicious but not special. The rice is fantastic! The whole maquis grill is very tasty. We could not finish even half of the main course because we were full of the chowder ... and the portions were large as mentioned ... so we asked to pack. The staff is courteous, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is excellent, the prices are a bit expensive, do not match the size of the dishes ... Total recommended (Original) זהירות מנות גדולות. הזמננו מרק צ׳אודר שהיה פשוט נפלא. מודד עם לחם סודה כפרי וחמאה. מנה עדירה מאוד ומאוד ממלאת. חלקנו אותה שניים וכבר היינו די מלאים. לאחר מכן הזמננו סלמון ברוטב הודי, אורז שום ומיקס גריל הודי. הסלמון טעים אך לא מיוחד. האורז שום פנטסטי! כל המקיס גריל טעים מאוד. לא הצלחנו לסיים אפילו חצי מהמנה העיקרית כי היינו מלאים מהצ׳אודר... והמנות גדולות כאמור... אז ביקשנו לארוז. הצוות אדיב, האוכל טעים, האווירה מצויינת, המחירים מעט יקרים אל תואמים את גודל המנות... סהכ מומלץ
