Comfortable seating, very homey place with delicious and flavorful dishes. Although predominantly Indian cuisine, the owners wife, Mrs Rohana who is a Malaysian excels in many authentic Malaysian cuisine on demand as well. Good service and clean toilets as well. Well maintained grounds. Love their coffee as well.

The food was nice, not the best I ever ate but it was nice. Especially the dessert. The service… was waiting way too long to order or for my bill, because the 2 worker who was working were busy sitting and talking.

Don't be put off by it's unassuming entrance or outdated decor, the Indian food here is the best I have ever tasted. The servings are large but you can take the left overs home for tommorow's lunch.Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Price is reasonable. Maybe not the place for a special occasion but absolutely perfect for your average weekend.

4 of us arrived late offa boat but they accommodated us with very kind welcoming words. Our meals and everything else was 100% perfect. We found this restaurant by accident but we were so glad. Owners really nice. I would highly recommend the fresh salmon and this restaurant.

Had a meal here last week with my wife. The service was excellent and the meal was top notch at a very reasonable price. I had duck and my wife had fish. Both were first class and generous size. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The naan bread was good the korma sauce was ok but over sweet and the mixed tandoori grill, aside from the one prawn, was just plain bad. It might have been that I was unlucky and the chef had an off night but it's worth knowing these nights happen. The girl behind the bar was very nice and friendly.

Don't be put off by the entrance via an archway into a lane way. Inside this place is excellent with a very good selection of Indian dishes and friendly, helpful staff. Best place to eat in Potumna.

I give this place four stars because i liked it . The food was beautiful . ( i had the chef's special ) . I needed help to make up my mind and the chef came to my table to assist me . My wife struggles with vegetarian food normally but again she was given great options . I have been there a few times and have never been dissapointed . Thank you Modena .

Only conditionally recommended Indian food quite good, everything else not recommended. Steak wasn't steak meat (very much flax-infused), beer tasted diluted. Unfortunately there is little choice in Portumna...

There aren't many options to eat in Portumna. We decided on this restaurant at short notice. It makes a pretty unkempt impression. It is an Indian-Irish-else restaurant. Very colorful mixed cuisine. We had a surf & turf, a duck, lamb and Thai curry. Everything wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly overwhelming either. The meat in the S&T was a bit tough. Salt and pepper were missing everywhere. At least the food wasn't expensive. It was edible but next time I would eat somewhere else.

Expect Italian. Get Indian. Very good. Fresh. The card is shuffled. It is also available Thai or local. Cleverly thought out, since the spices basically change. Very well-kept atmosphere. And also nice owners who are happy to answer questions. Don't misunderstand. We really like Ireland and go there once a year. But since we are often in small towns, today was a real burger change.

Caution large portions. We ordered chowder soup which was simply wonderful. Measure with rustic soda bread and butter. A very large and very filling dish. We shared it for two and we were already quite full. Then we ordered salmon in Indian sauce, garlic rice and Indian grill mix. The salmon is tasty but not special. The garlic rice is fantastic! All makis grill is very tasty. We couldn't even finish half of the main dish because we were full from the chowder... and the portions are big as mentioned... so we asked to pack. The staff is kind, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is excellent, the prices are a bit expensive, do not match the size of the portions... Totally recommended
