Everything about this restaurant was awesome. In particular, they have the best desserts in Donegal. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was incredible. The steaks were great and the chips were cooked perfectly. The pepper sauce was so good for both as well. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and honest. We appreciated everything they did for us and they made us feel like locals. You really should not miss this place if you are in the area. We drove from Dungloe three times just to eat there, it’s that good. We have travelled too far away now and already miss it. Just make sure you get dessert, it’s the best part.

I love this restaurant! The first thing that attracted me was the vegetarian/ plant based menu. Once arriving, I could see it was freshly remodeled and everything was brand new! The food was absolutely delicious (vegetarian and non vegetarian) and fairly priced. The servers were super friendly as well. Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I had a beautiful meal at The Thatch yesterday evening. Wow! What a lovely experience. The food was delicious. Beautiful fresh fish, well presented and lots of choice. The service was excellent, lovely staff nothing seemed too much trouble. We are so lucky to have this fantastic restaurant in Glenties and will definitely be regulars!

Excellent food and service. Stopped for lunch here on Friday as we were passing through. Got the spicy mackerel and sea trout, both were delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were great and checked to make sure everybody had a covid cert so felt very safe. Overall great experience

Spotted this Bar & Restaurant on way to Killybegs so did uturn and went in for something to eat. What a fantastic surprise - beautiful premises, open fire and fab food. The manager and two girl staff members were very attentive and served our drinks quickly. Food was fab and would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area or passing by.
