Just thought that in the climate we find ourselves in at present and possibly into the unforeseeable future that I would like to pass on a comment on Wild Spice Indian restaurant in Gorey.My self and my wife have beengoing there for the past six years and its a pleasure to say that during that time we have never had a bad meal. They have been through thick and thin over the past two years with this damn covid but they have survived and still manage to produce good indian food which we love.So for those of you out there who have not tried it GIVE it a chance. we are going this evening yummy. Going here occasionally for takeaway during the lockdown. Food's amazing but you have to endure the shock of the pickup. Long waiting times and a fairly chaotic procedure. Worth it though. Just prepare yourself.

Food is out of this world. 10 stars. Pity about the service. -10, ordered for collection at 7.30pm. Told 1 hour wait. I stood outside the restaurant waiting for 90 minutes.(on top of the hour!) Another customer who said he ordered at 8 got his food before everyone else (5 of us who ordered between 7.20 and 7.40) zero organisation.

The food was absolutely unbelievable and was so tasty! And it was so reasonably priced not to mention how wonderful and helpful the staff were, the two girls working were so polite and helpful, they really made the experience that much better! I could sit here all night and say how great this restaurant really is but I'll leave it at 5 stars. I have to say this is the easiest 5 stars I'll ever give, thank you for a wonderful night 😊

I really enjoy here. The staff are nice, they obviously prepare the food from scratch because the taste of the food is unique. This is a blessing and a curse. For whatever reason the food tends to be one dimensional. The meals are either uncharacteristically over-sweet, such as their buttered chicken, or just spicy. There's no complexity to the dishes. Listen, they're good portions, and they're tasty, and the prices are on the money. But you can't help thinking that a few fresh herbs at the end of cooking would just bring a bit more depth of flavour to the food. The restaurant itself is a little tightly packed, the wooden tables do feel a little bare bones but, as I said, I do like this place. The staff make it, and it's great for a quick, casual night out of tasty food...

Amazing food in great portion sizes served by very friendly staff. Nice ambience in the restaurant and also doing a stunning amount of take away business. A little bit of a wait for the food, but it’s very well worth it. The food is delicious. Highly recommended.

100% recommend, if your in Gorey. If your not in gorey its worth the drive. Believe me. Without a doubt the best dining experience in the area. Staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Everything i have eaten here has been fantastic, fresh and very very reasonably priced.

Edit: I'd like to update this review as I had a much better experience with this Indian takeaway. I ordered for collection and the food was ready within 30 minutes which was brilliant. I'll keep updating this if I keep getting good experiences. 👍 Original: "The reason I'm giving this takeaway only two stars is because the time it takes for the food to be prepared. I was waiting over an hour and a half for the food to arrive at my house. The next time I decided to order to collect but it still took an hour even though Justeat said it would be 30-40 minutes, so I was waiting in the takeaway for about 20 minutes. The food is amazing, so it's such a shame that it takes so long after ordering. Due to this I would not recommend unless you're sitting in for a meal."

Great Indian restaurant and very polite staff. We tried their Paneer Jalfrezi and Veg Kofta. The kofta were very authentic and flavorful. Specially loved their garlic onion & coriander naan bread. Overall, a must visit restaurant if you are around Gorey, Co. Wexford. Shoutout to Sinead and all the other staff there. Great job guys.

My experience in wild spice was amazing the food and salad was perfect no complaints at all was a great way to end my birthday. The waitresses Sinead and Sadie were amazing thanks you both very much

Me and my boyfriend dropped in last night Easter Sunday and had a lovely dinner .. We had the meat starter to share which was really lovely . For our mains my boyfriend had a chicken madras and I had a chicken chilli masala which again was also really lovely .The staff where also really nice and we where served very promptly . Good is good but get a take away, we got a table but you couldn't have a conversation with the lady who was taking the take away orders shouting the orders into the kitchen. We were waiting ages for our meal. I think they are too busy with take away that any diners who take a table are not getting good service. As I said food is good but not good enough to recommend dining in. Other restaurants have food as good are nicer and quieter and goid service.
