You will find it hard to find a restaurant that does food like they do it here. It's superb. I have returned and returned again and the menu is exciting and it's switched up and it is enjoyable to try their new dishes, really really excellent, a spot for foodies ! 😍😍

I was just on my way back to kilkenny from Galway....saw this beautiful river side spot...stopped for a coffee .... and realised should have come here earlier . It is such a beautiful place. Well thought. Nice cabins to sit outside and ebjoy the flowing river. Indoor decore is classical, peaceful, sit down enjoy gossip with your partner or just read a book. Managers are so welcoming, warming atmosphere . 100%recommended to visit for meal, coffe or drink 🥰

Huge thanks to Breda and the team at The River Restaurant. We were a large group of cyclists at the end of a long journey and we were superbly looked after in the lovely gardens on the banks of the river. Looking forward to going back for a proper meal.
