Excellent coffee shop with broad food menu. I dined with family and we sampled the pizza and steak. My brother in law (who's Italian) tried the tortellini pasta and said it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The steak was also cooked to perfection. The coffee is definitely the best I've had for some time. Creamy cappuccinos and nice and hot. The atmosphere was lovely and warm with Christmas songs playing in the background and bright, bubbly, attentive staff about the place. It was a great experience and we all plan on returning soon.

If you are looking for an amazing coffee shop in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. I highly recommend CAFFÈ VERGNANO 1882 located on the promenade in the Beautiful seaside town of Bray County Wickow Ireland. Upon entering I was made feel very Welcome. Everything tasted absolutely delicious and was just perfect! Definitely no complaints from me. The staff always make sure you are taken care of. I ended up going back the next day. Absolutely no complaints at all. The staff are all professional, kind and genuinely care about their customers. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served in the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great Coffee Shop from all my travels and life experiences. I definitely will return to CAFFÈ VERGNANO 1882 in the near future. This establishment rates five stars and more! A must visit when in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland!

Great setting with panoramic view from Bray head to Sorrento. We had a simple lunch, salad, toasted sandwich & particularly tasty soup. Definitely worth a visit.

We went here for a joint 30th/40th birthday dinner and drinks get together. We were put in the room at the back. Everything was great, really can't fault anything. The staff were great especially the blonde girl who took our orders for food and drinks. We paid for the food separately to the drinks and the prices were good, not too expensive. They let us bring down balloons and even gave us a free 1.5 litre bottle of champagne. I would definitely recommend this place for food and drinks to every. The menu was great, it has everything on it from chicken to pasta and steak. I got a steak sambo and chips which was very tasty! Thank you Cafe verganno for a great evening. We will be back!

Tried this nice place today and here are my pros and cons: very comfy,fresh, clean and new premises. A lot of welcoming staff members. Prices are very reasonable: dessert is 2,50.pot of Tea 2,50,carvery lunch 12,90,kids portion 9 euros. We came in just for hot tea on a windy day after a walk and ordered at the bar. We vere quickly served. Guy asked about tea and if we wanted ice cream or cream with apple pie. We wanted ice cream. Were told to sit down and that orders will be served. We got apple pies 5 minutes later, it was served with fresh cream and didnt get tea pot but when were ordering we saw it was filled in for us. Husband went back to the counter to get tea. Tea was not hot anymore and watery. A mug I got was clean but inside it has a ring from previous tea or coffee. Its a pity after dishwasher you get such a marks. Overall location is superb,dessert tasty,tea was watery but prices very friendly.Loved decour and super wide choice of gins at the bar - GINSPIRATION. Staff nice,place looks modern and fresh, maybe needs a bit of MORE attentiveness from the staff and than will be grand. Might give another go after some time. Good luck.

I had the burger which was bloody amazing and my wife got the wing and garlic chips . The staff are amazing and fun to talk with. I brought my 10 mouth old son with me and the staff where Amazing with him laughs and giggles all the way . Would recommend this for a good night out

Stunning location in Bray. Delighted to have popped in and enjoyed some of the best Guinness in Ireland in this place! Winderdul, friendly and happy staff. Food very nice. Nice atmosphere.

Our new favourite place. We shared a starter of salmon carpaccio because our mains of home made pasta were going to be substantial - the very knowledgeable Cian took our order. A perfect, delicious anniversary dinner!

I tried the full Irish and while the presentation was great, the eggs were literally swimming in oil, as was the hash brown. The coffee was great though, I had a cappuccino doppio, and I would return for that alone. There's also a great selection of fresh baked pastries and cakes on offer too.

I went here a while back and I was not impressed with my visit but I decided to give another chance last week and I was pleasantly surprised. I was served by Camille and Amy both of which were very attentive and pleasant couldn't ask for better service. I got the barbeque wings and a portion of fries. The wings was a very good portion size and tasted great and the chips were pretty good aswell. I couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for food when visiting the seafront.

Have visited on 4 occasions and despite the spectacular views and the good coffee the service is very slow, even on a quiet day. Staff are not unfriendly but don’t really know how to interact with customers. Food is ok but nothing special. Has a five star look to the place but doesn’t deliver.

Really nice food and location, lower tables are not as comfortable as they could be. The service was slow and our waiter couldn't be more excited to be there (not) just lacking that extra bit. I hope to come back again to see how the new business has evolved, hopefully for the better because the potential is there.

Coffee, cakes and atmosphere are excellent, great music at a good volume. Wines are good too. Food is nice. Staff are very friendly and happy to help but a tad disorganised, even so they are so lovely you don’t even care as long as you’re not in a rush, they were very apologetic and so nice that we didn’t mind. The view us stunning the interior is lovely, apart from the bay trees that have been left to dry out. A few minor issues but overall a lovely place for coffee and cake and maybe a bite to eat. Would visit again.

Nice place for coffee or a drink, and the staff on our visit were very nice and provided good service. The food at dinner wasn't particularly good and it was a bit odd that our mains came when we were only half-way through our starters, but maybe just because it's a new place experiencing teething problems. As my old report cards used to say: needs improvement.
