Stopped off here for breakfast and were we delighted that we chose it. The staff were friendly and welcoming the inside and outdoor dining areas were clean and all that before we got breakfast there is only one word to describe it FABULOUS. We got more than we expected and were full for the day. Very reasonably priced as well. Can't wait until I come up with an excuse to travel that way again.

Glad we stopped! We were cutting across the country from Kerry to Dublin when we felt hungry and stopped at this place just by chance. We were sat in the outdoor seating area and the service was great. The food was suggested by the person waiting the table and it did not disappoint. Good solid lunch for hungry travellers. We even got dessert. The wait staff was friendly and the food arrived pretty quickly. Going by the crowd, it may be popular with the locals too, not just tourists. Will probably come back if I am in the area.

Food was nice and at a very reasonable price. Staff were happy to accommodate my 5 yo son's strange requests (fried egg and garlic bread). Staff ensured that masks were worn, vaccine certs checked and the lead guest's details were recorded. The only problem was the tables were a bit too close together and I would have preferred to be slightly farther away from other diners.

This is a great place to stop on way from Cork to Dublin if you want a coffee, lunch dinner or even just dessert this is the place to stop. What is really nice about this place it is not like the Services off the Motorway. It is very local, makes you feel really in Ireland and has menu for many types. They also do herbal teas for the healthy people. They have decent sanitary faculties also. It is literally 3 minutes off the Motorway and you can not miss it. Coming from the Cork side of the Motorway it is on the left hand side of the Road. Coming from the Dublin side of Motorway it is on the right hand side of the road. It is a must place to stop when travelling to Dublin from Cork for a bit of culture and good food. Thanks guys.

Haven't been in Mother Hubbards in years but the original one in Moy Valley was a favourite of ours on family trips to Kerry. This one in Cashel is same as of old. Good normal, reasonably priced family restaurant/ truck stop dinner type of place. Food came out super quick. A relief and delight as we'd tried to get somewhere up and down the main street in Cashel and hadn't any luck. We were just giving up hope and heading back to motorway when this place gave us a lovely family dinner. Would really recommend. Don't be put off by the deserted petrol station type of look outside.

I remember when this used to be the place to go for food, unfortunately it's gone a bit down hill in terms of food quality. I had a BLT and the bread actually tasted gone off. My wife wasn't too impressed by her's either. The staff were great though and the place looks nice, but honestly, the food needs to step it up a bit. I did edit my review after getting a response from the manager, whereas I can't change the experience that I had, I can honestly say that I'm happy to hear from them and that they take their reviews seriously. This shows commitment on their part and just how dedicated they are to their customers and the experience they have there. Well done!

We called to mother hubbards last week on a return journey from roscrea and we're hooked ever since, fantastic food with a great variety on the menu to suit everyone's pallet, there's no chasing the food around the plate here, there's always plenty on the plate here and if you haven't a great appetite you can have half portions too just let the waiter or waitress know your requirements. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rest assured we will be calling here as often as possible in the future.
