A.Just had an amazing dinner in the dining room. The early bird was great value and every course was lovely. All the staff were lovely and there was a great atmosphere. Make sure to book - we saw a few people being turned away .

K.A HUGE thank you to the Dining Room for catering for our wedding dinner in early November with their Heat at Home service. My sister organised everything with Shirley a week before the wedding and couldn't recommend them more. We had a 5 course meal and the food was phenomenal. It felt as if we had our own personal chef present with us. Kevin and Shirley went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more grateful. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, it was amazing to think that we could have such a top-class dining experience from home. We would definitely recommend the Dining Room to anyone looking for a memorable food experience.

Food and especially wine still overpriced. €30 for a wine that's €9 retail in tesco. I always thought double the retail was reasonable. With the need to recover lost revenue I'll forgive the wine price for a very enjoyable fine dining experience.

D. T.Have to say, I was completely amazed by the quality of food served in this little gem of a restaurant. Hand on heart,the best meal out I've had in over 15 years. I cannot begin to put in words the absolute pleasure the meal was. From the very start, each course was well presented and the flavours danced on your tongue.
The pork belly I had fell apart in the mouth and the flavour was heavenly. My girlfriend had the steak and the knife seemed like a decoration on the table It was barely needed to cut the fillet. The desserts were heavenly and the only problem with the whole affair is that I didn't have the space to finish the best Sticky Toffee Pudding I have ever had.
If ever the phrase "my compliments to the chef" was inadequate, it was in "The Dining Room". I hope there's someone on here who can send the Michelin inspectors there to rate it, definitely deserves a star or two.
P.S. Worth ringing up and asking in advance for a loaf of their speciality breads to take home. My personal favourite is the brown sultana bread.

We didn't have a reservation but they accommodated us regardless. The staff were so friendly and the food was devine. Very professional and loved chatting. They were very attentive to one of our group who was disabled. It is no wonder they have won awards! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. P. L.Had an early bird with a group of work colleagues on a friday evening (just before 6pm) which was very cost effective. But the food... I would, and have, paid twice that for the same quality and taste. Generous with bread whilst waiting for starters, knowledgeable on wine choices, the smoked salmon starter was perfect and the monkfish was to die for. All in all, Ten out of Ten overall.
