B. W.The staff and the owner Mary couldn't do enough for us .the service was very good .and it was great that I had access to the lift. We had no waiting on food orders or breakfast it was excellent a very comfortable stay and a great location. It was lovely weather so it was great to sit out side for the music as well

a. M.Stayed here August 2019 to watch the Mayo/Donegal match and as the place had been closed for a while we were expecting it to be less than superior. We were surprised, our room was small but perfect, all brand new furniture and carpet and a big bathroom with power shower. Tea and coffee facilities in room along with iron and ironing board.
The booking staff, receptionist and the night porters were all really helpful and friendly. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.
Really recommend this place!
u. k.We were lucky enough to spend two nights in this beautiful hotel. From the lovely bottle of fizz left in our room to celebrate my husband's birthday to the extra thoughtfulness we were treated like royalty. The staff were amazing, Jess Pauline and especially Declan you know who you are. The owner Mary treated us like family. All and all a wonderful stay.

L. N. O.I experienced fantastic hospitality last night at the Ivy Tower Hotel (formerly Welcome Inn). I needed a room unexpectedly as a family member was admitted to hospital and I called very late. The lady on the phone was very kind and reassured me my late arrival would be no problem.
The room was newly renovated, clean and comfortable at a fair price.
Every member of staff I met treated me with kindness including Tom the night porter. I didn't get many names as I was in a bit of a fluster but thanks to those I encountered.
The hotel is in refurbishment at the moment and is clearly a work in progress, but for me the hospitality I was shown made up for this.

A. B.Attended a wedding at the Welcome Inn Hotel yesterday and have yet to go home. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating and the weather was so nice we sat outside and had a few drinks and grub al fresco outside the hotel today. Well done to Ann, Martha & Mary for making us feel so welcome and making sure our stay here was so enjoyable.
C. M.Recently re-opened and rebranded following the closure of the Welcome Inn. The new owners seem to be investing in the property by refurbishing rooms as they go. The room I had was basic but recently renovated. I hope they are able to complete what they have started. No lift to get upstairs.

H.The Ivy Tower hotel is now open for business again after closing a number of years ago, unfortunately like a lot of viable businesses during the crash of 2008 and because of restrictions on cash flow from the banks there was just not enough support to keep these businesses going and so they had to close until the economy picked up again and the good news is the hotel is open again and gradually getting back to where it was before the crash and good luck to them.
The hotel is owned by the Mac Hugh family and are part of the business fabric of Castlebar going back generations. The hotel runs the usual functions like weddings parties...christenings...night club...dinner parties and has loads of accommodation.

Very comfortable venue.Tables set out in a lovely way to allow the ceili dancers access the dance floor without any difficulty . Proprietor very obliging when asked to lower the bright lights. All round would have no hesitation recommending this lovely named Ivy Tower Hotel.

F. v. A.rooms and beds are good and clean, hot water in the bathroom can take 10 minutes but it will definitely come. Hotel no longer has a kitchen after a kitchen fire in May 2018! The overall appearance of the exterior and general areas is dated. Staff very friendly and service-oriented
