A. L.Came here for a late lunch and we were seated right away. Staff were very friendly and polite. The food was very tasty and we both finished everything and left very satisfied. We will come back to try more dishes next time for sure.

P. M.Absolutely Incredible !!! We're huge fans of Asian & Thai cuisine & Lana really blew our taste buds out of the water ! We ordered a Singapore Noodle, Khao Pad & Krispy Pepper Chicken. The mains we're extraordinary, but honestly the star of the show was the crispy peppered chicken. It was so tender, I was literally in awe. The staff were very friendly also. Shame I don't live in Castlebar 😂😂😂😂

C.I encountered a strange yet friendly man down town who seemed distressed while carrying a bbc (big bag of curry), he came up to me and asked if I liked curry and I said I did (I’m more of a teriyaki chicken man myself but I do like the odd curry). He asked me if I wanted free curry and though I was skeptical at first he explained to me that he ordered just the one curry from lana but a curry bandit changed the order to 4 curries. Sympathetic to this man who had mighty wide drapes of blue denim swinging off his sturdy legs I obliged and said yes I shall have one of your curries. The man smiled and with a twinkle in his eye he gave me a red curry from your establishment lana. Before I could thank the man he vanished into the horizon with a warriors strut. The curry was lovely with fierce spice and a fine bitta chicken safe to say my day was made :)
E. F.The food was really good with large portions. The staff are friendly and efficient. The only complaint there could be is the height of the lights. They are too low and both of my companions banged their heads on them a couple of times.
L. B.First time in this restaurant. Menu was varied and they also have gluten free, vegan menu. The dishes were well presented, plenty of flavour. Totally enjoyed our food and service was excellent. Definitely visit again.
E. _.The wait times were decent, and the portions were moderately large. Definitely worth the money. The only reason that I put four stars was because I am not a big fan of the kind of food they serve. Other than that, it was amazing- the decor inside was interesting and unique.

J. W.Fab food reasonable prices and really good service. The place itself is lovely I particularly liked the lighting. Tables are not too close together. My only complaint was the measure of a glass of wine was a bit stingy. I will definitely be back though the food was lovely.

2nd visit here in May 2019: Food was very disappointing. Barbecue ribs were do overcooked you could hammer nails with them. Chicken wings were nice but nothing exceptional. Service was just alright. Their stupid policy of serving all courses together only ensures that we only order a starter OR a main course. Very disappointing!

T. D.Had Fathers day lunch in Lana today and we all enjoyed it. Great value and great service. The menu is not vast but it's adequate to treat the various pallets. The free cone after you meal is a nice touch. My only negative is Lana does not serve milk.

J. G.I am not a huge fan of Thai cuisine. Just not into spicy. Food gets served all at once, starter and main, the proper Asian way. However this leads to a quick turn around time. Free ice cream machine allows you some relief from spicy food. However their are no other dessert options and I don't like ice-cream. (Well as a dessert)
went as a party of 4, so we chose a wide range of food, my Singapore noodles was tasty and some of the other dishes were good. However some dishes were a little hit and miss, even my Singapore noodles wasn't cooked right, a little mushy but still tasty. It's hard to explain but if I had to guess the cook is not very experienced in this cuisine.
Still the place is trendy and modern. I really enjoyed it and really appreciated the Asian touches ... however a part of me doesn't feel it sits well in a European country. The biggest flaw was the rushed feeling, and that is due the serving the starter and main together. We had finished in under an hour and just leads to me rambling in a confused it's good but ... not good manner.
I do suggest trying it ... and see for yourself. Its only been opened a month so I am putting it down to growing pains.

J. V.Visited Lana's restaurant in Castlebar with my friend last night...both of us really like the food there (normally). However, last night's experience wasn't what we expected...waited for food 50 minutes only to learn that they had firgotten about us...then they brought our starter and main all at the same time...starter (calamari) was not great and we couldn't eat it, but the weitress didn't even ask us was the food not ok since we didn't touch it...crispy duck was tasty, but not crispy 🤔 ...so overal it was a disappointment really...when leaving they didn't even give us a complementary item, which I would certainly consider with an attempt to keep my clientel after a very poor service...i normally don't leave bad reviews, but I kinda felt that I am entitled to get what I pay for, but I didn't feel that was the case this time at all...
The manager has contacted me and resolved this..very professional...went in to eat there again and both food and the service were very good.

M. Q.We have brought our club to Lana after two different seminars, and the service for 20 or so people has be super ! Really quick to take orders and get the food out and they have a 99 machine that you can use yourself !! What more could ya want
