Is it just me or are the prices gone true the roof here, Fish and chip €11. OMG 😱 Too expensive, what's going on. Place is spotless, and staff are great 👍. I've reviewed my previous review and am awarding a 3 star ,rating as I've overlooked the food and hygiene standards in my ratings. Happy Christmas to all of ye 😃

Quite possibly the best Onion Rings I've ever had are made here!! Miss Ellie's food is always so fresh & tasty. Supremely Covid compliant and go to great lengths to make you feel safe. There's always a queue so that in itself just goes to show how popular this place is. You'll want one of everything! And no matter how busy they are the staff are always smiling away & having the craic!

A small traditional chipper. Very popular for good reason. Well prepared tasty meals for very reasonable prices, always has quick and friendly service. Weekly/daily deals are yet another plus, especially for students getting out of college late and looking for a quick easy meal without blowing all your money, you can fill up for around a fiver, great stuff.

Called in here and purchased the quarter pounder meal. €9.50, I was not disappointed, the chips were superb, they had a fluffy texture inside and a crispness to them on the outside, they didn’t leave me feeling heavy or bloated like chips available from the other end of town. The quarter pounder was made fresh, and it was really nice, it had shredded lettuce, fried onions, (I asked for the tomato to be omitted) and the beef patty was quite substantial. A really nice fresh burger, probably the nicest available in clonmel, as others seem to have become more commercial in how their burgers are now. All in all id give this meal 10/10. Great value and work from miss Ellie’s.

As a non-lover of fish I absolutely love Miss Ellie's and have it as a treat! The slice of lemon is the personal touch that shows they care. Seldom as much as a chip is left in the box. Last Friday's was as wonderful as always. Already looking forward to the next time! Staff are friendly in this clean and well-run family food outlet - more than just a chipper-business!
