c.Sean has an old Irish manner of a bar man and it’s fantastic!! He is what makes the pub. The pub is so beautiful inside something you don’t see these days will all the modern pubs. The food is perfect and inexpensive . Great variety on the menu to suit everyone. Regularly eat here and never had a bad meal. Top class.

B. S.Solid service and good food. What really sets this place apart though is the decor. Rich, dark polished wood abounds and the pub is decorated throughout with beautiful stained glass and vintage and antique lamps and objects. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a pint of Guinness, or if you are gluten intolerant like me and my wife, a delicious meal and a glass of red wine. The barkeeper was very willing to make suggestions and modify the menu for a gluten free meal. He even brought gluten free gravy!

D. C.I visited this pub last year for dinner, and I was disappointed, the standard seemed to have dropped which surprised me as the owner Sean is never out of the place!!
But I went back again the weekend and ordered Sunday dinner and it was very good, not huge portions, but plenty there. And very good quality aswell.
The waiting staff are excellent and deserve a lot of praise.

I don't really know what I want as I like experimenting and the lack of a menu to at least lead me in a direction was a bit of a downer. I still recommend this place as a good relaxing place to grab a pint and some pub grub.

So popped in for a sandwich it was more like a dinner..ham toastie with salad and chips on the side. Went back for dinner Saturday night and lunch and dinner on Sunday. The food, the service was excellent .highly recommended it.

Great food, atmosphere and service, provided by Seán. Made my day. I just wish we had more Bar/Restaurants like this in Australia. You are lucky to have this one Clonmel !
