As an university student, shake Dog has a casual feel to it which is a great place to catch up with friends! The interior of the place really amplifies the theme of an American Diner along with the background tunes. We initially went in to have some milkshakes on a sunny afternoon, but stayed for the food as they sounded delicious and mouth watering on the menu. I suggest going for the 10 euro meal deal if you have an appetite like me, which is worth every cent and leaves your cravings satisfied. I recommend the Piri-Piri Chicken burger for anyone who likes a bit of kick or zing to their meals. The staff took orderly precautions given the situation and were friendly throughout. Overall a great experience.

Food was great but I wasn't comfortable with the fact the staff were telling people walking in with masks on that they didn't need to wear them, also none of the staff had masks or face shields on. Another issue was the kectup, salt and pepper etc on the tables were not replaced after each customer I even saw the staff member wipe down the table and just push these back into the middle of the table without even so much as wiping them down, I would not feel comfortable going here again.

Great place for Food. I have an egg allergy and server Max was very helpful bringing over allergy menu and going through each item. There was plenty for me to choose. My mum is 76 and disabled but loves this restaurant gets kids meals I had chicken tenders and curry chips and Max gave me 2 Cajun sauces instead of garlic one which has eggs. Thanks

On January 3rd Friday, I went to eat at Shake Dog with family friends, 6 kids and 5 adults. They reserved a table for us, even though it is a fast food restaurant we had the same server throughout the night: Barbara introduced herself at our table and told us that if we needed anything just shout. This was the first surprise, I have not met this kind of service before. The burgers on the kids menu were all great, 5/5 stars to the chefs. For the service if I could give 10/5 stars I would, Barbara was kind to us and the kids, she was funny and even persuaded us to dessert. She knew how to make our night extra special. I can only recommend the place.

Meal for two costs €25 (less if you order small portions). They have run out of nachos on several Friday afternoons when I needed a good gut bomb.

My first and last visit to this “diner”,.. The service to take the order is good and quick, the same cannot be said for the waiting time before the food comes out. There was 3 of us, and the two people I was with got their food ten minutes before mine arrived. The “fries” are disappointing, as their only of the frozen variety. The burgers seem to be ok, you can see their trying to serve up a gourmet style burger but are just falling short. I ordered the Route 66 burger, because it’s description made it sound delicious, but it was lacking in any real flavour. There are no high chairs for toddlers here and the card machine was out of order. All in all, I felt that with a bit more attention to detail, and a bit more planning and professionalism this would be a far better American diner experience. I can’t say I would recommend this restaurant and I won’t be rushing back there anything soon!

When I was here it was quite a busy day so I was expected we would be waiting a while, however our food came so quick, so I was sceptical about whether the food was ok or not, food was nice however my drink was dirty! Put me off altogether little bits and grease floating around in it. When I asked for another one I'm almost certain she just brought back the same exact one without an apology or even acknowledging me.. was not impressed with the staff here.

I have eaten here twice and the food was excellent! Huge juicy tasty burgers and a portion of chips that I couldn't finish. My Daughter had to eat her burger with a knife and fork it was so big. Rockin Joe's is a definite recommend.

I always find the experience of going to shake dog I very easy one,I wanted to bring my kid who finds waiting very hard,so I rang down and asked could I place the order and have it ready when we got there,the girls were more than happy to oblige us and had a seat waiting for us when we arrived,he was so happy and will definitely do it again.
