R. W.The area's full of places to eat and almost hidden in a corner of the square we saw this place and decided to try it. This was the best lunch we had while in Cork. The wrap I had was delicious and my wife was talking about the potatoes that came with chorizo for the rest of the day. They get the coffee right too. Big recommend.

L.Super popular, and no wonder why: great produce (our vote for best ham in a breakfast dish, 2017), solid coffee and teas, caring service... when we were there, they offered a black pudding hash and this beautiful eggs "benny" benedict. And save room for the cake (sorry no photos, we ate it too quickly!), but skip the hot choc. Perhaps offer to share tables so others can enjoy!

The food was nice, the coffee was really good (I'm Italian, I don't really even like coffee and in Ireland, sorry to say this, but it's very difficult to find a good coffee and this was REALLY good). The place is nice and cosy but a bit small so keep that in mind if you plan on going. I had the Hash and I liked it, it would have been perfect with less potatoes and more bacon and sauce. My girlfriend had the eggs Benny tho and it was very tasty but not too heavy.

The menu was great for us as our party included gluten and diary allergies. the food was stunningly good and the service matched it. A really exceptional experience all round
C. C.If you are in Cork this place is a place that needs to be visited. This place is always amazing, my favorite is the Eggs Benedict/Royale. The food is divine and though it may be a bit more expensive when compared to other brunch places, you get what you pay for. The portions are a decent size, and they do not skimp on any ingredients.
The staff are indescribable, they are just amazing. The host always remembers who we are when we visit and really makes us feel welcome to the restaurant and they never try and rush anybody out the door.
The only downside here (if you can call it that) is the location is a bit small and has limited seating, so there tends to be a bit of a wait for a table. But all of this is outweighed by the fantastic staff and food.

A. T.This is a lovely cosy brunch spot with great staff. It can be hard to get a table on the weekend but you shouldn't be waiting long and the food is well worth it. I had the avo toast which was HUGE and absolutely delicious. The hash and eggs Benedict looked amazing too.

E.I really enjoy Alis Kitchen as a weekend treat every now and again! The staff are delightful, especially the Maitre D (if that's the right word!). He is super friendly and makes every visit there memorable. The food is delicious every time and the gluten free options are great too! The eggs Benny is amazing and the eggs royale is equally fantastic! Highly recommend!
I.Went for a hangover brunch and experienced some of the best food and service I've ever had. Our server Luca was extremely friendly and helpful and the food was unbelievable and cheap considering the quality. We were so impressed that we returned the next day and were greeted by Luca who remembered us and sat us at our "usual table". A small gesture but being remembered is the sign of a great host and server. We had yet another phenomenal meal and again we were looked after like we were regular customers. The eggs Benedict is the best I've ever had and it is a dish I try everywhere I go. This place will always have my business when I visit Cork
K. H.Favourite place for a weekend brunch with a small number of seasonal options and great local quality produce. The only down side is the limited seating which can result in a bit of waiting time, it only shows how good the food and coffee are. Also the buns, cinnamon rolls and other baked goods which you can get apart from the seasonal menu are lovely.

She was an absolute dream to deal with in the run up and on the day and afterwards. She put her heart into the food on the day and it showed. It was hands down the best and most beautiful wedding meal we had all ever had! Thanks so much Ali.
J. O.Mysel and my mother went here for brunch and were met with a full restaurant and a few people waiting, but Ali took our details and called as soon as a table was free, fantastic service. Despite and extremely busy restaurant, they are extremely efficient. Food was exceptional, with the eggs benny with real ham being both filling and amazingly flavourful, and everything about the place was great! Will most definitely be back in the future. Would love to try their lunch/dinner options in the future.

W.I was so so glad to have chose this place at the last minute for a late breakfast/lunch...It was an off time so I was one of the only people in the shop, and they treated me like an absolute queen! I wanted a breakfast that they weren't serving any more, I asked for specific vegetables, bread, etc, and they said the special request was no problem, they would make me whatever I wanted... the owner was so kind and attentive he even surprised me with a tiny little dessert treat at the end of my meal! An absolute gem of a guy... Can't say enough good things about the warm service. Thank you a million, from Pittsburgh.

I had the most amazing brownie I have ever had. It was absolutely divine, the middle just melted in your mouth but both the top and bottom had a perfect flaky consistency.
I would highly recommend it to anyone, and urge you all go try the brownie. I dont care if you dont like brownies, this one will blow your mind. 🤯.

L.One of the best places in town for a munch! At this stage I've had everything off the menu but they keep em specials coming which are always unrail! Breakfastin' or brunchin' not many places doing it better. 🔥 All the staff are dead sound also! Luca's a gent. 👏 If ya haven't been yet do yourself a justice and get in there!

The tiramisu French toast was amazing, with a mascarpone-amaretto cream that was not too sweet, but perfect.
Only negative aspect is their opening hours, remaining closed on bank holidays and opening late/closing early. But I understand their choice, that gives their employees a nicer quality of life, and that translates well into a very good staff that seems to genuinely enjoy working there.
If you're in Cork, don't miss it.

Then we had an amazing dinner experience here and were so happy to experience the romantic atnosphere at night while eating marvellous food. For instance: the chestnut and cheese pie: stunning! Rigatoni with aubergine and burrata: mouthwatering. The cider pork, oh God... to die for. The wine list is rich and detailed! And the staff: top notch, always making you feel at ease with a smile and a lovely chat. Do not miss Ali’s, be it for brunch or dinner! It’s an experience in Cork that I can not recommend enough.

Easily Corks best baked goods: bunnage of the highest order and decent coffee from Cloud Picker to boot.
