Reviews of Barry's of Douglas Restaurant & Bar
Nice restaurant with great food, love their burgers! All diners require COVID certificate before you are allowed to sit in. Well done.
I got the pesto chicken pasta, it was nice... a bit bland and garlic bread was rock hard. Friend got the green curry , liked it. Id like to try the buttermilk chicken burger. Looked good. Good staff, good atmosphere etc.
Outdoor area is lovely, wouldn’t even know you’re outdoor. Cocktails were great! Food was also amazing we got the share platter and dressed fries 😍 would definitely return
Lovely place to relax and dine..prices a little expensive about €2-€5 per starter and main.dessert about extra €2 depending on where you normally dine..I did not mind as I took my wife out for a treat but to be honest the food was really lovely, staff were very nice and professional.. i never complained as why would I I went in there by choice . they asked for my covid vaccine cert but no ID.. not sure why no one was asked .. OK alot of regulars go there I'd say so I understand why you would not ask them but I'm not a regular.. overall its a lovely restaurant and pub..
Nice place. Staff I dealt with however , were inattentive and rude. They need to be trained better. I understand that they may be new recruits due to the pandemic but their lack of politeness is a deterrent.
Friendly personable service, relaxed atmosphere, not rushed, food was delicious pub grub, good value, ample portions. All needs catered for. Definitely worth a visit, take you time, relax and enjoy!!
Enjoyable tasty pub grub. Signature Burger with parmesan sauce was a solid foundation for 11 consistently good pints of Guinness.
Fantastic. The food was amazing. The out door area is stunning. Well spaced out. We felt very relaxed. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Great Grub, great portions, great staff. Facilities are setup for social distancing. Had a fantastic experience whilst having lunch here.
