The interior reminded me of my 80s Punk roots. We were there in the afternoon for a cider, but we heard the place gets packed at night. BDSM shares a really nice beer garden with The Vicarstown Bar.

Updating my review, as I just visited it recently and must admit I'm a bit disappointed with the new layout. Especially of the back area. It was always a good spot to come with friends, but some of them smoke, so the new no smoking rule, has kind of been a turn off for them and me included. However for people who want to avoid that scene its a perfect social spot and the tapas look great ( haven't tried admittedly). Not my kind of spot anyways, prob won't be back

Great place for drinks and a nibble. The cockatials are fantastic but expensive, so is some of the food but great quality. Good place to go for fun with friends wouldn't recommend inside the bar for convo the music can be so loud you cant hear eachother speaking outdoor area for that more so. Otherwise it's my favourite bar in cork staff are all lovely.

Good Rock n Roll DJ on Friday night, good variety of beer and other drinks, including some cocktails. It's nice but keep in mind it's a bit small and popular, so it might be packed depending on the day.

We went for some fresh tacos tonight at The (new) Old Town Taqueria at the B.D.S.M. in Cork. It lived up to the hype and didn’t let us down. I definitely recommend it. What a great surprise it was to find such good, quality tacos, quesadillas and nachos hidden away at B.D.S.M.. Everything on the menu was less than €10 too!

This is my favorite spot to have a friendly, warm ambience where it's feesible to have a meaningful conversation. The heated benches in the outdoor seating area coupled with overhead heaters and a central woodburning fireplace make this place a cozy neighborhood hangout that always feels welcoming.

The place has some the best selection of alcohol on northmain Street. The outside on the street is stunning and the inside is just on par with it. The pub has a beer garden, not a huge one but quite confy. Be sure to take a photo in the photo boot ;)
