A friendly greeting as we arrived set the scene for a cozy dinner for our two families.
Our drinks order was prompt and the food is simply the best in the area. From the crisp pork belly, to the mussel and monk fish zarzuella and the wood fired pizzas, hats off to the chef.
Our children had margarita pizzas, the thin crispy bases made the Italian way went down a treat.
All in all excellent value for money and food that one foodie can rave about!
Well done to the team at Blair Inn!
D. C.
Nicest bunch, loads of space out in the back garden that borders the river. Portions are very very good and reasonable for price and they master the takeaway game for a fancy dinner at home.
They’re now doing pizzas on a Woodfire oven, you won’t find anything better in miles on the R579. Pictured are the Whiskey wings.
Definitely worth a visit if you have time and are passing Cloghroe.

Food was exceptional and so were all the staff. Well worth a visit. Will definitely go there again. I'd recommend Blair's inn to everyone. 100%😍😍😍
S. H.
Fantastic place to enjoy a nice meal and a few drinks. The food is excellent, loved the muscles and wings. Great selection of beers too, yellow belly IPA went down well in the beer garden out the back, very relaxing with the river and heated patio seating. Can't wait to return again and would recommend it to one and all!

My Wife and I just happened upon this pub while we were on vacation in
Ireland 2years ago. By far the BEST Sheppard's Pie and Bread Pudding I have EVER had! And I ate a lot of Sheppard's Pie on our trip! Nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. It was a great find!
T. O.
4 of us ate in Blairs last night. Starter of goat tartlet was delicious but unfortunately that was the best of the night. 2 ordered duck but the waitress came back to say that they were sold out. One took chicken wings instead and the other took a burger. The menu was quite limited with no steak or fish on. I had a silverside of corned beef which while well presented was very plain . The burgers were likewise were well presented but not very exciting. This is our local top class restaurant but last night was disappointing.
L. H.
Absolutely beautiful food (wings, fish pie, bread and butter pudding), and the staff were incredible. When my car broke down, they were so helpful and tried everything to get me going again. Definitely worth a visit!
P. L.
Great ,best meal it didn't have to cook my Self in a long time, chicken perfect, pork moist, came out hot, great kids meal, service class
M. B.
The food here is absolutely fantastic, all four of us were very happy with our dinners, even our fussy 8 year old. Very friendly staff and great service. Can't wait to go back
J. S.
Spectacular food, great ambiance, and delicious beers from a friendly staff in a small local pub. If you're looking for the quinticential local Irish pub this is it. The food portions are more than generous and fall off the bone good. If Richard is working he'll help you pick the perfect beer and he and the locals will tell you the best places to go and the best ways to get there. 10/10 would visit again just for the conversation. If you're stopping through Blarney/Cork it's a must for a good pub dinner.

We used their collection service throughout the last 18 months. Delicious food every single time. Great portions and really good service. Will definitely continue to visit when things go back to normal.
P. L.
Best meal I had in a while, great service
D. B.
Very nice place with really large portions. Interesting outside area but there were a lot of issues relating to items on the menu. But they were friendly and offered alternatives
D. C.
Perfect food with lovely craft beer in a very nice garden. Slight smell from neighbouring pig farm on this particular day but no fault of the Blairs Inn. 👍
A. G.
Just had a Fab take-out dinner from Blairs Inn today.
I would highly recommend it, I got a nice big piece of cripsy duck and my partner got a creamy veg pie😋😋😋it was very nice.
Thanks a mill.
D. G.
Super food, good service, fair price
D. P.
Gorgeous food would highly recommend
L. R.
Lovely, quaint, little spot with a lovely outdoor garden and fire pit. The cottage pie and corned beef were absolutely delicious but the portions were a bit small for the price. It feels like an old, cozy home with mamas cookin'!
m. g.
Our take away was delicious! Food was still very hot after 10 minutes drive, fresh and tasty! We got lamb shank and venison casserole!
T. S.
Great food, lovely service, never leave with an empty stomach!

Lovely bar great food and fabulous staff
A. L.
This was a nice restaurant with very nice employees. Food was good and they had a larger back room for us because we were a larger crowd.
L. M.
We visit Blair's a few times a year. Really lovely food, well cooked, always with beautiful sauces! There's always a good atmosphere there, hosts are great.
R. B.
Great food, great atmosphere. A gem. We will be back.
J. W.
Delicious food. The Hake and Sole were wonderful and so flavourful. Meals come with a separate side of potatoes and vegetables. We even met the owners and their son the chef afterwards. Extremely nice family. Thanks for such a nice evening. The Blairs Inn is an excellent restaurant/pub that lives up to its award winning designation.
F. E.
We had a booked a table on our arrival into Cork from London in early December. The host was very welcoming, and he put our 10 year old daughter completely at ease, as she was nervous about her food allergies. A truly delicious meal in a very cosy setting -would recommend!
C. B.
My husband and I had a lovely meal last week but the only problem was the homecooked chips were very scarce when the burger arrived... So we asked for another few chips... There were 5 chunky chips on the plate that came out.... They charged €4 for the portion and when my husband queried it, the gentleman said ' I won't apologise for that at all'.... Very pleasant man but he could have been more tactful perhaps, in these unusual times...pity really 5 chunky chips = one large potato @ €4 a portion!!!!
N. O.
Food was brilliant though the menu is limited to only a handful of dishes. I had the bangers and mash and it was excellent.
They also have a fab beer garden and a good variety of craft beer on tap.
F. T.
Outstanding place. Cosy country pub with a superb restaurant. Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Great outdoor area to eat or just to chill by the river for a few drinks. Fabulous wine list and an even better craft beer one.
P. S.
This is a really great restaurant and pub. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. And there's a great choice of wines, whiskies & craft beers and ciders. Lovely spot for a nice relaxing meal with a loved one 😊
D. T.
One of my favourite places on the planet.
The owners and staff are wonderful. The food is delicious with carefully selected local produce and the array of drinks has something interesting for everyone.
In the winter you can sit by the open fire, in the summer you can sit out in the garden where even the stream seems to pause to relax. I'm reluctant to leave but at least I can enjoy the anticipation of my next visit.
M. T.
Excellent food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Never fails to deliver. We pay a visit 5/6 times a year for food. You get what you pay for.
G. G.
All four in our party loved our entrées. We even thought it was one of the best meals all vacation. The only downer was beer selection as they were waiting for a result because multiple beers were out. Bad timing I guess but the food made up for it. Very nice people too.
M. W.
Loved this place. Added bonus to have The Shamrock Trad group playing from 7.30 to 9.30. Great Sing Song.Americans, Dutch and locals joined in the fun. Sorry to say on return visit on Monday night music was discontinued due to lack of support. What a shame.
N. W.
Blair's Inn is a wonderful must-visit bar in the Cork area and wins over the consumer via a number of areas:
1) - Selection - the selection of beer is terrific; everything from the craft to the consistent is available.
2) - Food - the grub on offer is terrific tasting and the servings are huge, representing value for money
3) - Setting - the pub proper retains an old vibe feel to it with fireplace and typical soft furnishing. Outside there are well furnished beer gardens and smoking areas, both sheltered and not. The restaurant area offers a comfortable regular dining experience for those who do not wish to stay in the bar area.
4) - Atmosphere - the staff are friendly and traditional music is regular.
Overall Blair's Inn has something for everyone and is well worth a visit for visitor and local alike.
E. L.
A wonderful example of irish hospitality. The chef and bar staff were very friendly and helpful with menu selection. I had a delicious goats targine. Large portions that would satisfy any large eater. I would return any time im back in the area.
N. G.
We love every food experience we have at Blairs. Their brown bread is the best ever and we've never left disappointed. Their meats and fish are always moist, tender and delicious 😋 We like the cosy, romantic feel of the little restaurant and in winter the fire is always ablaze. Richard usually has a story to tell and all the staff are helpful and nice. It truly is our favourite place for a cosy meal.
A. Q.
We mentioned in a Facebook post that we missed the veggie pie and wished it was back on the menu. They listened to us and added it back on! Phenomenal customer service. We will see you again soon!
N. S.
Adorable pub with chatty staff. The food was good and the drinks were lovely. Our waitress gave us samples before we ordered our drinks, which was very helpful.
A. M.
Nice quiet traditional Irish Pub and the service is excellent.... I recommend the lamb shank (one of the best meals I have ever had) also a great selection of local craft beers.... will be back again!!!
M. A.
Amazing Pub! We have been already 5 timea there and for sure we will keep going ;)
Great selection of Irish draught beers and excellent food.
There is an outside area to sit, its like a park with a river!
W. B.
Outside the village of Blarney I came across this place by accident , if ever a 5 star rating was deserved then this is it.
The food was exquisite with both a bar menu and a La Carte to choose from.
Waiter explained all the dishes and how everything was sourced locally.
You won't be disappointed.
N. D.
Very Nice staff. Steak perfectly cooked. And vanilla ice cream and brownie was gorgeous. Back area next to the creek is great place to drink a pint.
M. F.
Cozy pub with food that tastes and feels homemade. Everything we ordered (12 of us) was outstanding... starters, entrees, and beers.

What a lovely save place to eat we took out the in- laws and they gave us a table near the fire and they was plenty of space around us , the food was amazing
R. O.
Charming little bar and restaraunt serving a wonderful selection of food.
Pheasant.Venison and Cromane mussels on the menu .Great selection of craft beers and pleasant service. Loved it.
D. O.
Always a great experience when we come to Blair's Inn, made feel welcome the minute you walk through the door. Rotating craft beer selection (draught and bottles) if you just fancy a pint.
The Blair boys know what they're at - Duncan's food menu is always delicious - and matches well with Richard's drinks pairings.
Try one of Richie's beer cocktails afterwards instead of dessert. If the sun is shining, the patio is the place to be. There's a large open fire in the winter.
B. H.
Fantastic food, they are offering a superb click and collect service, with a daily menu.
D. S.
Food is good but nothing espectacular. It is a bit price for what you get. There is only one vegetarian option and it's not very appealing. Great outside area.
C. O. L.
Absolutely gorgeous food. Great service and atmosphere. A perfect place for an evening meal or a nice drink by the fire. 10/10
R. P.

Ordered a Dungarvan beer that was "pumped" it didn't come out of a regular tap but it looked like it was being pumped. It appeared to be a featured item. Can anybody tell me what this process was called? A very good beer and an enjoyable dining experience.
C. O.

(Translated) One of the most characteristic places I have ever visited in County Cork. The Blairs Inn boasts a history of over 130 years and inside you can breathe it all. Cozy and essential, the small fireplaces inside warm the environment and give that touch of authenticity that only the most historic Irish pubs can offer.
The food is nothing short of delicious: I ordered a cottage pie (to scream) and a typical dessert made from sweet bread, raisins and cream. All fabulous.
The staff is extremely kind and sociable, you can safely stop and have a chat in the company to relive the history of the restaurant.
Last but not least, the restaurant has been elected over and over again as the best pub of the year.
If you want to taste the real Cork made of pubs and good beer, the stop is a must.

(Translated) A journey into the past. It looks and smells like it did 60 years ago, one might say. We were there by chance in 2014 and I swear that even the gentlemen at the counter (guest page) were the same. When in the evenings a traveling singer sings hand-played Gaelic songs, one prefers to stay straight. Really good.

Wirklich sehr gut.
