Food was grand, coffee was lovely. Our server was super! Only issues were they had limited supplies between tables so as soon as you used something theyd to take it and give it to another table. The person who greeted us was curt and particularly lax with safety; wasnt wearing his mask over his nose, when speaking to his colleagues and some customers he took it off altogether. This enabled another server to wear their mask under their chin.

Super great lunch. The fish and chips was just the right portion size for lunch. The tartar sauce is nice and creamy, a favourite condiment of mine. The chocolate torte was the best I have ever had, but the chocolate cake was a bit grainy for my taste...but very moist. I would definitely get the torte in the future.

I haven’t dined at Bramley Lodge for almost five years now due to moving to North Cork but after my recent dining & cocktail experienced I’m over the moon that I have rediscovered this stunning location again. The exquisite Orangery is a new addition to Bramley Lodge. It has completely changed the vibe to the restaurant. The inside/outside feel is just a wonderful to sit back in and enjoy a sublime cocktail. The menu has been completely reinvented with a sophisticated twist on modern cuisine. I enjoyed every second of my experience & I can’t wait to return. Book a table ASAP. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.🍷🍷🍷🍷

Excellent food, and giving 4.8 stars because of the really great kids menu too! Fast as humanly possible service. Their beef croquettes could have been a bit more cooked and crispier, and come as normal with a side fries or veg but very minor irk as they were delicious and I nicked a few chips from the kids anyway ;-) if you’re going to FOTA wildlife park nearby then book your tickets around going here for your lunch first!!!

Gorgeous food. The most friendly and efficient young staff..we had a christening party here recently. The location was great for kids they had a safe green to roam outside after dinner, there was goats and chickens nearby which also kept them entertained. The staff has great patience with the kids too. Nobody's glass was empty at any stage they were constantly checking were we ok for everything..and the food was fab. I hadn't been here before but Will be returning for sure.

Went in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Ordered the "Bramley Full". When I enquired if I could replace the 2 x bacon with something else I was told no, unless I was prepared to pay extra. A bit surprising as I have done this in other places. That said the breakfast (without bacon) was good and the inside was comfortable and clean.

Had lunch in Brambley Lodge today with my husband and two children (aged 7 and 10.) We were comfortably seated at a large outdoor table in a beautiful spacious courtyard. All tables were shaded with wide parasols. The menu was varied with a range of full meals such as burgers and curry and lighter bites like chowder or salad. I had the mussels to start and the special-sole. It was superb. The children’s menu had limited choice but the quality of the food was exceptional. The service was very friendly and efficient. This place popped up on my Instagram feed. The food looked so tasty and yum. Seeing the amazing pictures of the food pulled me to this heavenly place. We just brought Carrot Cake and Wrap from their takeaway counter. It was Divine. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the Cake was absolutely exquisite. Bramley Lodge is different world, I recommend it to everyone living in Cork must go there!

Place was very busy and there seems to be a lot of confusion with staff, the lovely person that was serving us was constantly bothered by other members of staff about the location of items by kitchen staff, it took her 20 mins to serve us from no fault of her own...be nice if the managers created a better system as this one is a bit goosed

We have driven past bramley Lodge everytime we have visited Cobh over many years, and each time we say the same thing, god it packed in there we must call in on our way home, and eventually today we did !!!! Bramley lodge; we stopped at this beautiful restaurant on our way to Cobh, as we hadn't booked we had to wait roughly twenty minutes for a table, owner/manager couldn't apologise enough. They were so busy but lovely buzz around the place. We got our table with an umbrella. Oh the food was amazing, starters I had chicken pate and hubby had coconut and butternut soup, mains I had cod (melt in my mouth) hubby had burger. We did get a shower of rain but we were ok. Staff each and every one of them were so polite and friendly. On our way out management apologised to us once again for delay, we had no problem with the wait. Definitely will be back. Lovely food. Since the management changed haven't been impressed as I was before. Last 2 times had words with staff about seating and waiting times and silly rigid rules, including being forgotten altogether while being seated in the wrong area.

Honestly we couldn't fault the food today. It would have had 5 ☆ but for the service! Again the staff were all friendly but it took almost two hours to have a main course and dessert. We were asked if we needed anything as our mains were served, we asked for ketchup and mayonnaise and it never arrived. We had to ask for a takeaway coffee as it took so long to get it at the table. Food gets five stars but the service Im afraid gets one star.

Pleasant place to stop on Waterford - Cork road. We visited on a particularly busy lunchtime. Food was served promptly by a pleasant server. We got good food - not overfull plates, but it was tasty. All we met were friendly staff. We would happily stop there again.

Relaxed and charming restaurant, with outdoor seating and a decent deli and shop attached. Service is a bit slow but friendly, and the food is simple, tasty and nicely presented. The deli has lots of takeaway food options, including frozen meals in family portions.

I had a super experience here at bramley lodge. The service we received was quite good. There was a delay with our food when being served to which we did not mind as our server for apologise. We then decided to get a desert and when we went to pay noticed that not only did the give our tea and coffee complementary but also our deserts as we had to wait 30 minutes for our main course. The food was absolutely delicious especially the fish which was super fresh and melt in your mouth. Fantastic little place for a bite to eat and a drink.

My favourite place to eat with family or friends as they have friendly staff and great food. There is a really good variety of large or small plates, for a full dinner or a small wrap for lunch. (small menu) Thier bakery is fantastic, so even if you are just passing I'd recommend to pop in and grab a loaf of fresh brown bread. Their is an option to sit outside if the weather is nice during the summer

Arrived at 1.15, busy spot so happily waited with my 5yo. Got a table next to a lovely couple at the same time, they ordered, at approx 1.30, we didn't order till 2pm. Had to reorder as the special was gone, food was out by 2.15 so that was welcome. I would recommend tightening service and sections, tables don't fall through the cracks in systems then.

Absolutely amazing place! Went here for the first time for some lunch and I could safely say one of the nicest places in cork for the perfect lunch. Cosy interior with a lovely outside seating area perfect for sunny days! Food was spectacular! Well presented and delicious, hats off to the kitchen! And the staff were super friendly and attentive! The desserts were 10/10, I'd highly recommend the chocolate fudge cake, possibly the best slice of fudge cake I've eaten. For even just a coffee or a full lunch, this place is the perfect spot!

I go to Bramley regularly. Food is delicious. Staff are very friendly. At peak times (lunch) I do notice that the staff look completely stressed and frazzled running between tables trying to accommodate everyone. Maybe more staff are needed. Today, I noticed a pony in a pen outside. Previous occasions I have seen chickens and goats etc. but this was the first time I saw the pony. The pony was being kept in completely unsuitable conditions (no grass, does not have the adequate space needed for a pony, no shelter, no companionship - horses are herd animals) - looked like a dismal life for the pony. I don't know if the owners of Bramley are the owners of this pony but regardless, it looks bad for the business.

I had a delicious lunch with my sisters there the other day. We had a table in the conservatory which was nice and bright. I had the gnocchi with pancetta and mushrooms which was scrummy!!! Dessert consisted of shared Chester cake with coffee. If my belly wasn't full, I would've ordered more. Really lovely place to catch up with family. A reservation is probably a good idea.

Stopped off here on the way to cork. Had a really lovely relaxing breakfast and it was great value too. It’s a very bright and clean restaurant and the food tastes great. We bought some tea brack before we left, something to take home. The brack was very tasty but was a very crummy bake - it fell apart no matter how thickly you cut it. I left it for a few days to see if it settles it might cut better, no joy. Anyway. Would return here without a problem as the menu is great.
