A deserving 5 stars, top 3 places in cork city that I have visited easily- could possibly even be number 1. Perhaps another visit will cement it's place up there- we will definitely see in the future as I will most definitely return. Greeted by a lovely and polite gentleman, kick-starting the evening with great customer service. A lovely boutique Mexican atmosphere was soon followed by the main event, beautifully presented main course with an aroma of unique original and organic Mexican flavours that made this meal one of the most enjoyable I have had in cork city. The spices, flavours and accompaniment were beautifully balanced to give my taste buds a most pleasurable and unforgettable experience. This was then followed by original churros and hot chocolate, the most authentic and most delicious of which I have found here in Cork city. All in all a 10/10. A truely enjoyable experience and one that I will most definitely have again.

It’s was my first time visiting a Mexican restaurant in Ireland. I’m Mexican American and know when you find good Mexican food anywhere in the world and this is as close as you get- it’s like eating at abuelitas (nanas) house in Mexico. Take a look at the pictures to see the goodness of the good I ordered. It was flautas, tacos, albóndigas, and fish I’ll come back and edit exactly what it was on the menu.

Churros are quite delicious and they are serving it with ice cream. Staff is friendly. I expected to have crispy taco bread but it was the same as market taco bread, it was soft and was like a lavash from tesco.

It's a great place either for lunch or dinner. You can get all traditional things like fajitas and enchiladas but if you want something lighter you can get a very delicious chicken broth and quasadilas as starters. Plus churros and you are well fed. You can also get Sangria and the staff can speak English and Spanish.

Amazing food and great service! We had the double special which is 3 mains of your choice. We got a burrito, chimichanga and steak tacos. The wait time wasn't very long but the waitress still brought out some tortilla chips for us to have with our salsas. Sangria was delicious too. Can't wait to go back.

This was some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time, and I'm from Texas, USA. The food was fresh, delicious, and plated well. I ordered the chips/queso and the chicken taquitos. I think they are booked most of the time, but I came early. They quickly sat and served me. I'll definitely be back.

This was the best experience I had with Mexican food. The place has very traditional decorations, music and obviously the best food. They are spicy at an acceptable level, but you ask to have meals at hot level (for the courageous and experienced ones). Go ahead and have the best Mexican food in Cork ever.

We ordered some cocktails, the hot chocolate with liquor, sangria and other one which I don't remember, all of them around the price of 6 euros (a decent glass). They were extremely delicious. The place has an amazing Mexican decoration and candle lighting, it's a very cosy and comfortable place. The waitresses are very charismatic, we enjoyed pleasant Mexican soundtrack and took some silly pics with a big Mexican hat. 😂

Okay food. Charming cosy restaurant with exceptionally fast service. The cocktails are alright, the food is nothing special, but not bad either. To give an indication of how great we thought this place was, we spent more time talking about how delicious the food was than actually eating it. We also planned what we’d eat on our next 2 trips. I am rare to give a five star rating but I jumped online to review this place the second we left. Top recommendation would be the nachos (with chilli con carne). A meal fit for a main course and only €6! We also ate the fajitas and churros. Will be ordering all 3 next time, but am worried at what we will be missing from the rest of the menu. A pretty fantastic dilemma to have.

This is the best Mexican food I have had for a very very long time! Good service, great variety, these guys have some of the best chicken wings I have ever tasted! Nachos were unreal, my wife had a jug of sangria we both as enchiladas 🙌🏻👏🏻 and finished off our meal with their churros! Amazing chocolate sauce! This is a must visit! It is busy but they have a couple of tables outside, a ground and upper floor too!

Super cute boutique restaurant. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. I would not, however, classify the food as Mexican. The tomato bases and sweet sauces are definitely Spanish cuisine. The place would be more appropriately advertised as a Spanish or Spanish fusion cuisine restaurant. We were not happy with our meals. We ordered nachos, fish tacos, and chicken fajitas. The portions were large, the quality of food was fresh, but the cuisine was not Mexican. It was a sad proximity of a perception of Mexican food.

I had the Chimichanga with a filling called Picadillo, which is a combination of spicy beef, almonds and raisins. Very interesting flavours. My companions also loved their food. I love cafe Mexicanas food, coffee and desserts! But the last two times I've been there I have been with a group and both times they either forgot my order or got it very wrong. Both times I had to wait while others ate for my food. When mine came , the group I was with were finished. But i was not charged either time. The food is delicious i really hope it doesn't happen next time!

One of the only Mexican restaurant in Cork, good for an starter but if you know a bit about Mexican dishes, you will notice that this is not truly mexican food. Thought, It's not too bad but it's not an special place to eat. For vegetarians options are not so big if you don't count the starters (which are almost all vegetarian, I have to say) you'll have the vegetarian fajitas, the vegetarian salad or you can try and order one of the other dishes without meat (they can do that for some of them).

If you come here, make sure to request a table downstairs. We were put upstairs and it really felt like we were forgotten about. I ordered some tortilla chips to nibble on while boyfriend ate his starter but I never got them. There was no waiter around to call for until one finally arrived to clear the starter. Food was okay, mine (can't remember the name) was a little bland but my partner's (the meatballs) was lovely and smokey with a gentle spicy kick. Pitcher of margaritas was my favourite part of the meal and we finished on 2 shots lf chocolate tequila which we would recommend! I wouldn't mind giving this place one more chance but I would definitely make sure we have a table downstairs and I would order a different main.

My personal favorites are spare ribs, baked potatoes with spinach and cheese, grandma's cake and sangria. I do take mentioned food as starters as main course portions are too large for me, but perfect for my friends. Please, bare in mind that this place serves Mexican fusion food rather pure authentic, and still very tasty. Going there for the last 6 years with my friends for a cosy atmosphere and Mexican music that we usually hear there. The place is colourful and full of little items to check out, including pictures, photos. Waiting staff mostly are Spanish speaking (of course, they do speak English). So their accent contributes to the feeling of being in other coutry for a mini holiday with tasty food.
