It was my first time at this lovely restaurant. Didn’t have a booking and only noticed it when I passed by. Popped in and discovered this hidden gem❤️ You don’t always get to say the food’s authentic Italian, but this place truly transports you to the heart of Italy. The chef prepares authentic Italian dishes from various regions of Italy. They also explain the dishes on the menu extensively. Definitely going back here! Do try this restaurant if you love Italian!

This place was a small Italian Home in the Cork,Ireland. The food was delicious and classy homemade Italian food. According to my bf who is from that Italian region, it was heaven. I swear we were so happy. The owner and the staff made the environment like eating at home and talking and having fun. Thank You So Much For The Wonderful Food.!😍🥰😘♥️

My Fiancée and I went to Da Mirco for the first time last night! I cannot believe we hadn't done so before. The whole experience was exceptional! My partner has not stopped talking about it since. Everything from the food, the atmosphere and of course the extremely friendly host, Mirco himself! It really is like a little piece of Italy in Cork City; very authentic! We cannot wait to go back again.

Best experience of all times, the host is very kind, he dedicated his time to explain the origin of the wine we chose. Food=top, high quality. But a special thanks goes to the head chef Vittorio, from Naples, whose cuisine reminded me of the old recipes of my Neapolitan grandma; his cuisine expresses the colors and the flavors of my beautiful country. Definitely the next starred chef here in Cork.

Top quality authentic Italian food. We went for the aperitivo menu and it was fantastic. Two drinks (one per person) and a generous platter of delicious cichetti to share for €25. Great value! We enjoyed this so much we also wanted to try a few other things from the menu which included great wine and one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. I have also been here for dinner previously and found it excellent. The staff are really welcoming and friendly, the decor is lovely and great safety measures are in place. I am already looking forward to eating here again.

Another fantastic meal at Mircos, the care and love that goes into the food and drink at this establishment is second to none. Delicious doesn't begin to describe it. Simply wonderful. The serving staff are friendly and welcoming, Mirco doing the rounds to all the tables making sure everything is top notch. It's our favorite restaurant in Cork.

Probably among the best Gnocchi pasta I've ever had. The staff was quite friendly and helped narrow down the menu choices for me as a vegetarian. The restaurant does not have a separate vegetarian or a vegan menu.

Always an amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff and the most perfect food. I have celebrated many a special occasion with a trip to DaMirco and they always go above and beyond. I was delighted to see that they are also offering a great take away menu due to current circumstances and couldn't wait to order. The three course meal was so reasonable (came with great tips and advice from lovely Mirco) and as usual the food was absolutely delicious, it was such a treat. 100% recommend!

I just discovered this osteria. I ordered takeaway yesterday for the first time. Excellent! I'm Italian, and I have good experience in Italian food :) The cacciucco was amazing, a perfect match with crostini and focaccia. We also tried the parmigiana and the cannelloni, all super. We have been to Da Mirco Osteria before the lockdown. The owner and staff are incredible. You feel like you are at home. The food and the atmosphere is fabulous. At the moment, they are doing take away. It is wheelchair accessible. The restrooms are wheelchair accessible. There isn't any wheelchair accessible parking. Food is beautiful and you can tell everything down to the pasta is freshly made. When you’re there, the service couldn’t be better or friendlier. The owner is incredibly nice and will go above and beyond in order to make your time there feel special. As for PPE with Covid, you feel very safe eating here. Their early bird menu offers amazing food and wine at a decent cost. Would recommend to everyone

Went for their take out meal this evening for my self and a couple of friends. I called a half an hour in advance and everything was ready. We had the Parmigiana de Melanzane, tagliatelle bolognese, lasagna, the meatballs. It was delicious and I would highly recommend it. Those who had the tiramisu said it was the nicest they ever tasted. I was full, so I have mine in the fridge for tomorrow.

All I have to say is WOW! This restaurant was phenomenal. I cannot say enough about the food and the staff. The server (who I also think owns the restaurant) was nothing short of amazing. He took the time to explain everything on the menu and give suggestions as well. The wine list was impressive...however my boyfriend is unfortunately not too big into wines so we ordered a bottle of Prosecco...which was delightful. The food was authentic Italian cuisine and SO good me him both cleaned our plates. After finishing our meals we split the cake of the day to accompany the rest of our Prosecco. The hazelnut cake that was on the menu that day was delicious. This was by far one of the best meals we’ve had while visiting Ireland. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this restaurant while in Cork. You’d be doing yourself a disservice if you did not.

I had dinner at Da Mirco last night and I the polenta and mushroom starter which was bland the mushrooms and quite oily. For my second course I had the macaroni ragu the pasta was good but the sauce consisted of a bit of fried mince beef and oil and ground parmesan cheese, I was disappointed with it and expected something better. I had tiramisu for dessert , it had hardly any flavor and rounded off a bland meal. The service is good and friendly and maybe the chef had an off day.

Genuine Italian food, cooked as it should be by an Italian chef. My carabonara excellent with the correct italian ingredients brought from Italy and pasta made on the premises. Mirco (the owner ) from Bergamo looked after us so well. We will be back
