Dinos is a great Cork chipper with a number of locations around Cork! The Blackpool location is one of the bigger locations and its the only Dinos that has a drive through! Staff: The staff are very friendly, attentive and they get the order right everytime in the drive through. Food: The chipper has a large variety of choices to choose from! Some of their best options in my opinion is the Breast in a Bun, Chips Cheese and Curry, Battered Sausages, Southern Fried Chicken Breast. My favourite is the Chips Cheese and Curry and a Southern Fried Chicken Breast. Layout: The layout is standard with the main counter and ordering area to the right when you walk in and there is seating to the left in a seperate area. Drive Through: The drive through circles around the main building and there is parking at the end. The queue can be a bit long sometimes but I have never received a wrong order from them. Overall Opinion: If you are looking for a chipper in Cork I recommend stopping by Dinos and grabbing a Curry Cheese Chip! I always find myself stopping here every couple weeks!

Didn't have a great experience here last weekend. Had visitors from the UK over who adore their fish and chips so decided to head to Dinos as I heard good reviews... We were very disappointed on this occasion... The fish tasted like it had been reheated or refried several times and the chips weren't great either. Perhaps we caught them on an "off-day" but we certainly weren't impressed with the food 😕

Called here for something to eat not knowing what to expect, It was clean toilets and sit down area off limits due to covid. Ordered a chicken breast meal and have to say it was delicious old style traditional chips lovel and dry no grease on them, the chicken in a bun was absolutely delicious it was a fine thick breast of chicken with seasoning on it and cooked to perfection it would melt in your mouth and was juicy nothing like the dryed up leather that passes for chicken in other outlets, also had a large coke to wash it down or a tea which ever was your preference. We will definitely be calling there again the next time we are in Cork for a meal. SO we were back in this part of Cork City again during the week and decided to see if we would be as satisfied as we were on our first time calling here. As before toilets and seating areas off limits due to the covid virus. We went through the drive through area this time which was very busy took approximately 15 minutes from time of placing our order to getting it handed to us, the young lad on the serving hatch was the most delightful young man we have encountered for a long long time he was so polite and mannerily and welcoming it was delightful to engage with him. The food was everybit as delicious as it had been on our first visit old style chips cooked to perfection I love the crispy bits at the bottom of the bag the chicken brest in a bun just melted in the mouth real brest of chicken is what you get here nothing like the processed rubbish that one gets in a lot of places. If you go there I would highly recommend the chicken breast meal you will not be disappointed..

Love dinos,but hands down the worst drive through there is. Couls be 2 cars in front of you and your waiting at least a half hour for your food. Such a stupid system if you go into dinos too pick your food up . Your still waiting 20 mins becuase of the drive through your not getting out .

Firstly, Food is very good, Service and speed not so good, Easter Saturday I tried it, their Car Drive Through was very busy as usual so I decided to try the restaurant, there was 1 woman on the counter, she took my order but I witnessed as she was preparing my bag that she kept wandering around and was leaving my food just sitting there! She then proceeded to start sweeping the floor and then disappeared completely into the back! Another woman had to come along and complete it only after people noticed the woman missing and started wondering who was after serving me, won’t be using their counter again.

Have been going to Dino's chipper when there was only the one in Turners Cross. I used love the recent Fiver Friday deal. Went to the one in Blackpool on way home from work as didn't fancy cooking. As always fantastic fine food. Got a breast in a bun meal and can't fault it. The chips were absolutely delicious and are proper chips. I used the drive through as saving on time and can't fault it. Whether it's the premise Kinsale, Bishopstown, Blackpool or the old stalwart Dinos chipper in Turners Cross, you won't be disappointed. Make sure you try their potato pies too😋

Got in to get some chips and got out with a full meal. They have very good deals throughout the week and they are worth to go in and check them out. The fish is fresh but I personally don't like the batter that much... too thick. Is you order take away your food will be nicely wrapped in a box. Typical chipper here in Ireland. The portions are huge and they got an extra star from me for the excellent value for fiver Fridays! The inside feels the same as any Mcdonalds would but the food is much more hearty. I would recommend the chips and fish as top notch but not impressed wity the rest of the menu.

Dinos is a great family friendly restaurant, serving good food fast. In my honest opinion, they have the best onion rings in the city, maybe even the country! The kids enjoyed their kids meals, always with a good toy! We had the fiver fryday fish and chips which was delicious! The fish is always really fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful and were very personable, which is a refreshing change from other fast food restaurants. This place even has a drive thru, altho it's usually faster to park up and order in of there's a queue of cars.
