Dinner! on Thursday 10/12/20 and Dinner! on Thursday 16/12/21 I didn't see many Christmas decorations around the Restaurant maybe that was to keep it clean during Covid 19 Virus. The Restaurant still looked great in December during my visits over 2 Years on year after the other year. 2020/2021. The Food and Service/Staff Friendliness was Francis Brennan Hotelier and World Tour Guide who helps different Charity Organisations in Ireland/Northern Ireland or other parts of the World Standard and The Restaurant was very Clean from top to bottom. There was no dust anywhere. John Brennan who is Francis Brennan's Brother or The UK The United Kingdom born Hotelier Alex Polizzi would enjoy coming to the Restaurant too and Francis, John or Alex would link the Restaurant to Hotels and B and B's and Air B and B's etc too. I would eat here again with a Friend/ Friends or with one Family member or with more of my Family Members! Thanks for my Evening! Dinner! 5 STARS!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Can't recommend this restaurant enough, after our first introduction of a delicious dinner we returned to try as many dishes as the 2 of us could manage, 6 starter dishes later we we were hooked, the staff are friendly and attentive, compliments to the chef, wish you could relocate to Kerry 😀

Best food in Cork by far. Good variety of options in the menu, from Eastern food, classic burgers, elaborated pasta dishes, chicken and sandwiches, without lowering quality. Portions are quite big, make sure you come hungry! The wine selection is wide, and they have wine of the month, which is usually quite good. I haven't found a wine I didn't like here so far. Service is very good, very professional and friendly. Prices are average for cork restaurants, a bit higher if at all; watch out for desserts, although delicious, they might bump the bill 4-5€. Very recommended for a special occasion, dinner with your partner, or just a treat for yourself.

I understand we were allocated an hour and a half to eat, but we were constantly being watched to see how fast we were eating. I barely finished my main and plates were taken followed by the bill being produced at our table when my friend was still eating her desert , we had not even asked for the bill at this stage when the manager gave it to us.like a conveyer belt watching people being pushed in and out so fast .won't be returning

Always exactly what I expect. Amazing staff, amazing food and both are constantly consistent. Well done! Try the emperor salad, the curry, the burger, the mushrooms and pretty much everything else! But, save room for dessert! Tiramisu is incredible.

You can't compare Eco's to anywhere in Cork not for value, ambience, staff & variety of top class food! We have never been disappointed even though we eat here at least 2 to 3 a month, we never get bored. Great menu and chefs are very accommodating if you need any special requirements 👌🏼

Having read some negative reviews I'm happy to say Eco Douglas far outstripped my expectations. Yes this place really does need to be booked and it's a booking you'll not regret. Having seen other diners meals as well as mine really impressed. But that was surpassed by the taste and aromas of my vegetable Madras. This was a meal well cooked well presented and well tasty. The staff were on the ball even the new staff member being shown the ropes was proficient. One very well run place with a well deserved review.

Most dishes can be order as starter or main, so we had too starters for the evening which was more then enough. They have a good selection of wine and also some nice locally brewed beer.

Going here for years. One of my favourite restaurants, never disappoints. We took our son here last Saturday for lunch for his 8th Birthday. The staff made him feel super special from the moment he arrived to singing to him when bringing out his cake. Wonderful, friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely memory.

This is a long established restaurant which serves high quality food at reasonable prices. Servings are generous, packed with flavour and beautifully prepared. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Service is efficient from staff who know the menu well and can help with advice if needed. This may sound like an advert, but rest assured, i have no connection with Eco or any of their staff, i just very much appreciate good quality food that doesn't cost a fortune. I highly recommend Eco for a very pleasant evening out, you will have to make a reservation as the place is very popular with young and old alike.

Good food have been here a few times. Plenty of selection. Nice, friendly staff. Only thing that has disappointed me to date was that I booked a table for valentines weekend 4 weeks in advance and when I arrived on time for the booking I was left waiting for 40 minutes for the table.

The place looks good, the space is a very tiny...you almost eat with the couple by your side. They have a huge menu of options, we ordered pasta and the duck. The pasta was very very tasty and good. However the duck during taste much. The place is not cheap, but if you want to try something different this is your place. My recommendation would be to order starters if you are not too hungry as per the portion are very generous. ;)

Staff: The staff were very nice. They were knowledgeable, friendly and professional 10/10. Cleanliness: Clean 8/10 Food: Great selection on the Menu, I had Cajun mushrooms to start would highly recommend, they were piping hot and very tasty. I hand the Madras Beef curry for the Main course. It was just the right level of spicy and full of flavor, I was unable for dessert as the first two courses satisfied my appetite 9/10 Prices: Reasonable for the quality, on the more expensive end of the restaurants around Douglas. Car Parking: seems to be lacking a car park and street parking is minimal, we got a taxi so did not affect us. Other: Small restaurant so depending on where you sit can be a little squashed, claustrophobic people beware. On the flip side of this you could say it was cosy. We had a good table so we were happy .

Sadly most people I know go to Eco's for their Steak Sandwich. They are excellent, but their menu offers so much more. Technically fusion, but in practice its a varied menu featuring seasonal produce. Not the cheapest, but one of the best in Cork.
