Also, the implementation of the Covid guidelines is exemplary! Other places could learn something here.
S. C.Chips are big and spuddy and not greasy. Very nice. Burger is really bad. The meat was fine but it looks like a McDonald's burger. No salad on it except for a couple of measly onion slices. So bland and dry. Fish was pretty tasty and was battered lightly unlike other chippers who batter their fish with a 1 inch thick layer of goo that doesn't even cook properly. The batter was greasy enough but that's to be expected I guess.

I generally go for a fish or burger but have tried lots more. The chips are hard to beat in Cork. Highly highly recommended.

A. B.Made my first visit to The Golden Fry this week and I wish I had done so sooner!!! Easily the best fish and chips I have ever eating. The batter on the fish was perfect. The chips were also cooked to perfection. I'll be back.
S. B.Love this place. Super tasty although usually quite long (slow) queues. Just means everything is cooked fresh! Wish that some of their food didn't come in styrofoam containers though- cardboard does the trick!
S. V.Golden Fry was just super fantastic. Food and service of top quality. I have eaten from there before but dont ever go inside I stay in the car.. the place is spotless well maintained. Great show of menu and choice of how you may like your burger cooked....the guy at front of house was very professional and reminded each costumer to hold safe the bag if it was heavy. The guy in the back was also very professional and took note of costumers giving a great smile as he delivered your meal to the service area.. we changed our mind about gravy for curry at the last minute so we just asked for an extra curry..this guy knew we didn't want extra curry so professional service and reading the customer took place YES wen we opened the bag 2Curry..yeah..thanks all at golden fry..defo be back...and may I add to other reviews..Best chipper in Cork..
