The location isn't good as the food, they lack the cure of details (they used a napkin to make the table stable...), no tablecloth. Then, the pictures on the walls seems to put there without a real criteria.

Let's start from the beginning.
This is one of the fancy Restaurants in town and more expensive as well compared to the average
The location is beautiful and recently renovated by an interior design.
Everyone inside is very elegant, they offer you a different choice of bread and some butter to eat while waiting for the food.
The staff took a bit before taking our orders but we didn't wait too much for the food even if the place was full.
Downsides:

The table we were seated had 1 armchair on one side an a big bench on the other. The armchair was a bit too low and not comfortable to eat
2 I found a black hair on my plate
3 the food is ok but not the best. From the vegan menu the "chilli" with beans is nothing super, u can find similar flavours at any Indian restaurant and pay half of the price.
The salmon with gnocchi is nice but why to put in the same dish gnocchi with pesto and salmon with cream? The flavours are not merging together nicely.
3 stars overall.

This is my favorite place to dine!
It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it; I rarely eat as well and everything in this restaurant is perfect.
- When we arrive, they take our coats and we sit at our table.
- Small butter with proposals of two homemade breads (which change regularly flavors, we had dried tomatoes and one with seeds)
- I ordered a gin that never arrived, 3 people are excused for the inconvenience.
- An exclusively vegetarian menu in addition to the classic menu (great!)
- From appetizer to dessert we feasted.
- The place is nice (I think it's old Turkish baths) and the staff very welcoming.
I recommend with closed eyes, perfect for a couple of dinner (I recommend booking the busy days 😋 👌 😀 😊 👍 😄 😋 👌

The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t have been more warm or accommodating. Neil and Michelle made booking the meal and organising our day so easy and straightforward, they were approachable, kind and I cannot thank them enough.

The staff were very nice. The manager especially was a great laugh. A must stop if you're in Cork. We'll definitely be back.
W. T.I ordered the surf and turf for my entree. The scallops were the best I ever had. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The steak was slightly tough, and I think it could be better executed. The service was good, the waitress checked in with me multiple times. The cheesecake was light and airy. It was also delicious.

H.Had a very tasty 3 course meal here in December. Some fried blue cheese with mustard to start, a lovely stuffed chicken breast for main and a delicious tropical Eton mess to finish. The food was excellent, the service was quick and friendly, they have some nice craft beers on the menu and some very nice wines. The restaurant is situated in an old bath house, it has very high ceilings and a huge amount of plants which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere.

My hake was a bit overcooked but having had better elsewhere in Ireland, specifically the Towers, in Westport, this is a fairly prententious restaurant with good food but over priced for what it is.

I. A.The food was delicious and they have a nice selection of wine, beer, and spirits. I had the fixed price menu with poached salmon, bacon rib (a rib cut pork chop cured like bacon) and their chocolate cake with hazelnut. The service was polite and friendly but it was a bit slow the day I visited. It's a bit on the expensive side but worth the price. A good experience overall.

I love the menu which is seasonal and changes throughout the year, but the staples are always there - they can cater for any dietary requirements which is fantastic and the entire menu can be done as gluten free. The early bird menu and set menus are brilliant value as well with good options on both.
The cocktails are fantastic, I am partial to the bramble in the historic, but fresh surroundings.

Tables not too close to each other as in many other restaurants in Cork. And, well, the food is pretty good. We went there with a group of 8 and everyone was happy. Menu doesn't come with that many items but each of them is showing expertise. Also there are nice wines available. Room for improvement: the desserts are lacking a bit.

P. M.Nice food but have had better elsewhere. Be warned, if you do insist on going here the prices for extras like water and sides are extortionate. Private room at the back for groups has a strange musty smell and is crying out for a revamp. Mandatory service charge also didn't reflect the standard of service received. Wouldn't bother with this place again.

The very kind welcome, the friendly, professional service, the wonderful presentation oft the dishes, great flavour and last but not least the very fine superb wines made this event perfect.

e. E.It was a family birthday evening and we reserved for six people. On arrival we waited for several minutes to be seated and we were given the " cosy booth".. I'd rename it " tiny and trapped " as it's awkward if the inner guest needs to get out. The server brought us menus including some vegan options. My son ordered a bottled beer which was out of stock and my daughter ordered a " Margurita cocktail which arrived after she'd received her main meal. Her boyfriend ordered a whiskey cocktail but he believed it lacked whiskey altogether. We ordered an Italian red wine which was familiar to us. The starters were served in dribs and drabs with at least 10 mins from the first one to before my mom was finally given her starter of " Mexican prawn cocktail " and sadly all starters were small portions and lacked flavor. The mains were served in the same way ,in dribs and drabs, and again lackluster, and flavor. Very average and very expensive meal. I think if the prices were cut by about 30%, our expectations of quality and flavor would be met. The desserts were little in the way of excitement and lacked flavor. The pistachio nuts served on most desserts were rich green and completely unripened. My tart base was hard /stale.This place needs to lower its prices or increase the quality of its ingredients and recipes. It was meant to be a wonderful time but it was disappointing to be honest. The last time I had eaten there I was delighted with my meal. Perhaps it's a different chef !!

Every meal I’ve ever had has been delicious. It’s impossible to recommend any one dish. The house red is even one of my favorites! They deserve all the praise and recommendations they receive and we wish them continued success

While the service started out somewhat promising it waned immediately after the main course. The waiting staff did not pay any attention to our table and left us waiting for long periods of time before serving our table. Best dining experience since being diagnosed 5 yrs ago. Totally cater, plenty choices, gluten free bread straight from the oven ,even the chips were suitable and a serious choice of desserts. The staff were top class, very well educated on the gluten free and contamination risks for coeliacs.

A. o. s.Fantastic venue for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience, the building itself has unique design & once upon a time the place was a Turkish baths which has that talking point,also my favourite the modern art pieces on display are pretty impressive , the staff are warm & welcoming from the moment you walk in the door , i was with my family for a special occasion , at the table there was plenty of space for us all , the choice on the menu or menus was plentiful, we had vegan vegetarian and omnivores all together the array of choice available was a job in itself to decide what to have , I personally love choice, before the meal we had bread including vegan options , fantastic to be included with the bread , the starter tempura veg I had was delicious the sauces were a perfect accompaniment, the main I had tofu and noodles a little on the spicy side it’s always a hit or miss with me I do like
A saucier noodle dish , i was a little envious of what my sister order the tofu steak (the next time ) desert I got the raspberry Frangipane I don’t ever remember having something like this as a vegan it was delicious With a taste of more we had coffee and teas with alternative milks available , the whole family (10) enjoyed there meal all saying how impressive the presentation of each individual dish , the service was excellent the price was reasonable
I would highly recommend this restaurant for an evening meal I look forward to returning in the near future
