Staff are lovely & extremely helpful! Great for families with a nice childrens menu & great choice of food with vegans, gluten free etc catered for. I had the spring rolls & noodles from the children's menu 😂. I asked for vegetables and soy sauce in my noodles and they happily added them in! (It didn't come out this messy I had already eaten some of it 😂) Highly reccomend and will come back here again!

One of my favorite restaurants in Ballincolig, Cork. The place is not too crowded, the ambience is really good it makes you feel so relaxed and crave for the food. The staff are always nice and polite, orders are taken and served promptly, foods are always fresh, so yummy and really piping hot. The restroom is actually very neat and clean, you can smell the lemongrass everywhere inside because of the oil burner. The place could get really busy during peak hours but you won't regret being there because the dining experience in total is really worth every penny. Nom nom nom

Very authentic and delicious Thai restaurant. One of the best I've been to outside of Thailand. Staff are friendly and the menu, although relatively small, is quite reasonably priced. Nice selection of beers too. Would definitely recommend.

Place so great that I wanted to come back there before I left. Perfect, delicious chicken coconut soup that surprised me with flavours, this soup is just top class. Red curry, I choose duck from range of meat, was also delicious, if you're chilli head you might feel their "hot" as a mild or mild-medium but aromas makes this dish really tasty and beautiful. Oh, and they have the chopsticks. Truly recommended West from Cork.

Great food! Fresh, tasty and light. The staff is friendly and portions are large. The miso soup is amazing. Ingredients are fresh and you can feel it, carrots and courgettes are crunchy and chicken does not have those awkward hard chewy parts. We got 2 miso soups, 2 mains, one glass of wine, one beer, two jasmine tea, for 47. We will definitely be back here.

First time for a long time. Starter was a bit scarce. The main dish was enough. Mine was Nasi Goren but although the fried rice and the chicken was a normal one (normal, that you could fine similar ones at other Oriental restaurant, not in the sense of mean), that fried crusty egg on top with the still liquid yolk mixing with the fried onions/rice/chicken, put a really nice different touch to the dish.

The best Thai food in Cork / Ballincollig hands down. If you ask for spicy you get spicy, fresh-cut chilly on the side if that is still not enough is also not a problem. Having a vegetarian green curry at Banna Thai is one of the things I'm looking forward to when I'm coming back from vacation or a business trip. Friendly staff too! Definitely recommended! Edit: Now called Kanok Thai, but it still has the same cook and some things even improved! The menu lists calories and ingredients and sometimes there is a small complimentary "home" made cookie / sweet for desert which so far has always been excellent!
