J. N.Came to Nash19 in Princes Street, Cork. 1st dinner after Covid-19 lockdown. Staff super. Had the Sashimi and then a Charcuterie and cheese platter. Gorgeous. Had a great evening. Was recommended by a local and its a good recommendation. Limited menu, but was right for what we were looking for.

O. R.Really tasty, refreshing and beautifully presented food. The staff were very friendly as well and the place had a nice vibe and sold some cool looking gifts as well as pantry items. We had sashimi, goat’s cheese and plum salad and the halloumi salad and they were all even better than expected. Wish I was in town longer so I could try more of their menu and wines as well, will definitely be back next time I’m in Cork!

c. g.Had an evening meal here recently with a friend. Overall our experience was pleasant and the food was enjoyable. There was a great buzz on the street. However, although the waitresses that served us were really welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about the menu, I did find their attempts at "up selling" slightly off putting...as well as the fact that all sides are extra, which really hikes up the cost of your main course, and €8.50 for a really small measure of wine... no thanks.. I won't be ordering that again!!

C. T.Nash19 is a nice, upscale lunch spot, and it can be quite busy during a weekday lunch. The interior is "art gallery chic" with white walls, spot lighting, and select paintings and photography. It can be filled with posh, older customers. As I am typing this, the couple next to me is suggesting to the manager that they be moved to a larger table, deeper into the restaurant. So, those kind of people. Anyway, the food is really good quality, with local ingredients and some culinary savvy. The staff are friendly.
The prices are, maybe, a Euro or two higher than they should be, but it is all part of the aesthetic. Their biggest problem, in my opinion, is the ordering/paying/seating. When you walk in, there is a display area that you are drawn to, to place your order. However, there are also people waiting to be sat at tables to order. I have been here many times, because the food is good, but there is always confusion about who is going where and doing what. Also, on numerous occasions, people who have eaten are coming at the till from the opposite direction, and are looked after first, even though others have been standing there waiting. It's a busy place, which is great, but they need to figure out a new method of processing customers. It's not a deal breaker, though. The food is good enough to overlook the chaos.

I got the Booming Benedict from the menu which comes with toast, bacon and eggs topped with hollandaise sauce.

C. O.This is an excellent family run cafe / restaurant for lunchtime eating. The do delicious home made high quality food. This is not a place to go if you are on a diet. The main courses are hearty and rich well presented and the wide selection of desserts are hard to pass up. Expect to pay about €25 for two courses but it is money well spent. Sometimes the time between ordering and getting food is a little long but the staff are attentive and helpful. A lovely occasional lunch, but too much food to go there everyday.

H. M.Lonely pancetta sandwich but very long wait for accompanying order of coffees and water, although when enquired to waiting staff was informed the wait was due to only one staff member on coffee. More timing coordination required for food and beverages to be served together. is respectively suggested.

b. c.The food is very good but not all the staff are. I go here once a year with my wife under protest. I would go regularly if the staff would get some manners.. The staff at the hot counter are really efficient, not over friendly, but they keep things moving. However, every time I go there, I have a negative customer service story to relate. This year when I got to the top of the queue and had paid for my food I was "ordered" by the "boss" to wait and someone would come along and take my tray to my table. I waited.......and waited......and waited...... and then decided to break all the rules and carry my tray to the table. WHEW! I was not seen by staff, and got away with it. They are known at this restaurant for their complimentary coffee top ups. It wasn't for me this time. Despite asking politely three times for a coffee refill, it never materialised. The restaurant was not full at the time and there were several free tables so the lack of a refill had nothing to do with the place being busy. Maybe next time I need to be less polite about it - like the staff

I ordered two sandwiches- one fish and lettuce, the other toasted ham and cheese- and one tea.
Plain- no salad or any extras.
When the cashier asked me for €23.50, I queried it and was told that a sandwich was €10!!!
When I said that was a new high- or low- I was told the fish was fresh that morning. This I would have hoped for anyway. I paid reluctantly- and got the wrong change. Too little. I called the cashier back and she counted it still in my hand. She did apologise and corrected it.
The sandwich was okay, nothing wonderful but the whole issue left a bad taste in my mouth.

k. K.Had lunch here today with my wife. Seafood and Avacado salad plus Roast Of the day (Ham) with potatoes and vegetables for myself. Came to about 26 euros I think. Upmarket restaurant full of people with plenty of money and people who just want to be seen in that company. Like a lot of the customers the restaurant is a little pretentious in its presentation of its food, decor and the way the staff are dressed. This isn't helped by the fact that some of the seats that I saw were stained.
Is it a Carvery, a sandwich bar, a coffee & cake stop-off? It can be quite confusing on a first visit. Do you sit down and order or take a tray and queue up. Prices were reasonable as long as you stick to water as a beverage. We were offered "house lemonade in a wine glass" for 3.95 euros. Yes, that's water, lemon and sugar! Maybe it's the wine glass your paying for! Coffee, desert, wine, minerals etc would increase the cost of any meal here a bit more than the norm!
If money is no object then you could have a very enjoyable meal here because the food we had was beautiful but for me, maybe just for a visit once in a while or a nice treat for my wife.
