The ambience is lovely. The service and food is good. I ordered the tabbouleh ( turkish pizza) and brownie. They were lovely and halal so enjoyed the food. I do agree it is slightly expensive though but still worthwhile going.

We both started our dinner with their cheese rolls - it literally happened to be only 2 little fried cheese sticks. Since we were sharing it, the portion ended up being too small for 2 unfortunately - we wish the staff could have warned us about the size of the portion beforehand. The cheese rolls were nice and we wouldn’t have minded to order 2 portions instead. As main dish I had the mix doner (chicken and lamp doner with salad, rice and bread) while my partner had the spinach canelone. Overall both dishes were fine - the same for their strawberries mojito. However we think the food and the drinks were overpriced.

An excellent lunch venue is presented along a quaint pedestrian friendly street in Cork. Prompt friendly service with an excellent menu is a real treat. How great it is to be greeted with a welcoming smile as if you have arrived at a friends house for lunch or dinner. Vibrant tastes of European cuisine cooked fresh to order so please be patient, it’s worth the wait.

I had 2 mezze and sad to say they weren't great, my companion had the Nosta Burger and that was really good, I'd like to sample a few more dishes on the menu, the staff are very nice and the interior decoration is very tasty, it was full with diner's at lunchtime, I thought it a little on the pricey side, maybe a separate lunch and dinner menu would make sense.

Gorgeous restaurant! Food was delicious and staff super - so attentive and warm! The pizzas looked amazing and I thought I was disappointed I hadn’t ordered one until I got my dish (chicken skewers which was delicious). Had a delightful evening at Nosta. The food was amazing!! 5 star just for the food and the atmosphere. I rate them 3 star because the service sucked! They took ages to take our order and didnt even return and check if we were enjoying the meal nor did they offer us dessert....we had to ask for a menu. It felt like I was begging to be fed. Went to nosta on the 4/7/21 Outdoor seating was great with an outdoor heater in which insured that we remained dry and warm. Food was very tasty and substantial portioned. we found out that the head chef/owner was from Turkey in which reinforced the standard of food. Service was prompt and the servers were very pleasant to deal with. Huge range of cocktails and beers. I will be going back and will be a place in which I will be suggesting to others.

A personal favourite. The chicken skewers are possibly my favourite dish I've had in any local restaurant. Staff are very friendly and I've never been in the restaurant while it is very busy so make sure to stop in and enjoy a relatively quiet dinner.

Tasty food with very friendly and helpful staff! A little expensive but good ingredients and will be back to try more of the menu. Interesting varied Mediterranean menu with a great range of cocktails on offer too. Baklava for dessert were delicious! We rocked up with no booking on a Saturday evening and they kindly fit us in with an outdoor table. Service level was excellent even though we were outside and when it started to rain, they accommodated us as best they could by moving the table under a cover and checking indoors to let us know if any indoor table was available. (didn't take any pictures but everything was presented well and tasted great!)

I notice a lot of people think the portions are too small but with the appetizer and main I thought the food was plenty. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The service I experienced was fine but this was during a very quiet evening and I did feel that our waiter couldn't understand us very well. However, we are Dutch and our English isn't perfect either.

One of the best places we found to eat in Cork.. Mediterranean food is the fare. Skews of Lamb, beef, chicken, Italian and Seafood. Everything was fantastic. Single person restrooms were clean, and decor, and ambiance was cozy, friendly, and service is a 10! We had cocktails, appetizers, 4 main dishes all different and all delicious. Too full to try what looked like amazing deserts.

We've been there with a large group of friends. Food was lovely and staff very friendly. The only negative thing I have to say was a small detail with our dessert. Some of us order the ice-cream at the end, mainly because on the menu it was described with a specific flavour we wanted. They had run out of it, which is not a big deal, and they added another one which we don't really like in general. We would prefer to be advised of that, and to be given the option to choose, rather than paying for something we didn't want. Apart from that everything else was lovely.

I had the most delicious, fresh Greek salad, and my husband had the dinner "special" which he said was also delicious - a starter, a beer and a main course. The reason for my less than 5 star review is because the "special" is not worth it if you do the math and they only bring you what looks to be a small beer vs a pint. Secondly, the man serving us was not friendly and seemed annoyed. I hate when service ruins a nice vibe.

Today I had the best steak I have ever had in any restaurant in my whole life. Seriously. And I have had quite a lot, I can tell you. I love good steaks so much that I stopped eating them in restaurants in fear that they would be mediocre, or even worse - bad. I make them at home. From time to time, however, I do go to Nosta for a very, very decent steak which is superior to all other places in Cork I have been to so far. Yet, today the chef (or the meat) exceeded the usual very good scores and surprised me with something extraordinary. It was poetry of taste. I heard angels choirs singing with every bite I had. It was extra-super-delicious! Juicy, tender, full of flavour with a bit of smoke lingering in the crevices. If you go there, make sure you get it medium rare or medium. If they serve you with a well done steak (as it happens even to the best chefs), ask for a replacement. It is worth it.

The best food I've had in Ireland. The prices were nice too. I was able to try a number of things because my friends each got something different. I had the Brushetta and I highly highly recommend. I think this appetizer was the favorite of the whole group. I had the salmon for my entree and the salmon was cooked just perfectly and the sauce was light and super flavorful. The deal I had was a starter, an appetizer, and a beer or wine for 21,90. My friend had the lamb skewers and those were grilled to amazement. These did not need any sauce but they also included a delicious sauce. The vegetables were absolutely fresh and amazing. My friend couldn't stop raving about the side vegetables so I had to mention them here.

Great and true Turkish restaurant with great variety of food. Nosta has open kitchen which proves that they trust what they're preparing and you can see all while they're doing their jobs. I had a chance to have a long conversation with the owner. He is lovely and he works as a chef there. He has more than 20 years of experience in this industry. We ordered soup, meze for 2, and raki and they were simply delicious! He makes yoghurt himself with traditional recipe. I can't tell more, 5 starts, great service. You should definitely visit this place.
