A. M.I wish I could give it more stars! Manager was lovely to deal with, staff also very processional and food was exceptional! Chicken wings were amazing! And vegetarian curry outstanding! Full of flavour and so fresh! 100% recommend it!
E. H.Very nice place to sit for a bite. We were outside for lunch on a rainy day and the roof covering was great kept us dry and wall mounted heaters kept us warm. Servers were attentive and friendly. Good was great, soup of the day was Thai something, very good. Salads and wrap were great also. All in all great.

Between us we had a burger with pulled pork and cheese (so tasty), a steak sandwich (also super tasty), chicken gougons, chips and some of the best garlic bread with cheese I've ever eaten. It was excellent.
The atmosphere was lovely the staff very friendly. Well worth a look for lunch or dinner!

S. G.So-so breakfast. The interior is actually nice and shows some effort. The staff is nice, service quick enough. Now, the sausages and the black/white pudding were of seriously good quality, think of Blackrock Castle. Unfortunately the toast was, we'll, over toasted and black on one side. The bacon also fried too long, hard and dry. On the other hand the fried egg was sitting somewhere and arrived cold. The coffee was basic. Won't go here again considering there are much better places. But there's worse, as well.

W. C.I've been here so many times and I'll keep going as long as they keep serving up fresh food from the market. The fish is always super fresh and the prawns pil pil/fish and chips is always a great decision of a lunchtime.
I'm always going in a bit later around 2-4 and it's still buzzing there as it's an institution in Cork at this stage.
The owner is sound and I've yet to see him without a smile for everyone.
Prices are fab and it's super clean as well.
Do you know when you're on holidays and you want to avoid the main tourist trap places that are mediocre and you want to eat at a place with a lot of character that isn't overpriced, well the best thing you can say about 14A is that "this is the place where all the locals eat".

M.Food was lovely and a good value for money but our experience wasnt that good,, the breakfast is uptill 12 ,, we were there before that and we have been waiting for others due to the restrictions and we got a table 12.10,, we asked the gentelman there if we cab order something from the breakfast menu but he said no we serve lunch now which was ok until i saw other tables served breakfast plates while they were seated after us. It was disappointment for us and i dont think we will go there again :(

D. U.Had the 3 course meal for 20 euro. Very good value, the starter was a large portion of chicken wings. This was followed by a nice steak and chocolate fudge cake. All food served decent portions. 3 course meal seems to be the only option really with rest of the things being quite expensive. Food served at a nice pace allowing you to sit down and digest it. Overall a good place to go to.
J. R.The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, too relaxed. It took over 40 minutes to get our order served and then, it wasn't all served at the same time. One half was nearly finished when the other half got served. The staff were apologetic but the manager couldn't give a damn about it. He just wanted to get paid.
The food was OK. Nothing special. Quite ordinary, come to think about it. Long grain rice with the curry, Basmati would be nicer, the steak salad, as a main course was missing some of the advertised ingredients and if we had to point out that the kids' chicken was to come with mash not just veg and gravy.
Will we go back? Nope!

D. H.We had a meal here before Christmas, it was very nice and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very helpful and accommodating. The food was good and the price too. It wasn't spectacular but still very good value for money
T. S.Take it or leave it! My wife and kids called in here around 2ish on a bank holiday it looked busy but still had a few tables free , we were seated right away. We had a long wait for everything they were not short of staff so I can't explain it I would say at least 20 mins to get our order taken (by this time it's empty enough) our waiter didn't go to put in our order immediately which then led to another delay. The food arrived and it was really nice, (that's what this post should really be about) While we waited we did discover the capital of Tonga (if you've been here you will know) maybe our experience is a one off for here.

Had spicy wing starters really big portion, nice taste, prefect heat and the sauce that came with them really complemented the flavouring on the chicken , penne polo for the main, home made garlic bread that came with it was amazing, chicken was a slight bit tough but still enjoyable,had chocolate fudge cake for dessert, wasn't too heavy and came with plenty of chocolate and Carmel sauce and small little bucket of cream on the side.
