P. b. L. A.Best Italian spot in all of cork in my opinion. Truly Italian. Just go. And you really get what you pay for and more. I've never been in pain from eating until here. You only need a main and you'll be wobbling out. I had 3 courses woth my friend. Half pizza each(same price as a starter) I had the pasta, and my friend had lazagne then went half on the tirumasu. We nearly had to be stretchered out.
Also they are very covid guideline strict. You must show id with the covid pass. But honestly worth every penny.

Absolutely loved the chips and cream sauce ❤️ and fabulous service! My utmost thanks to Ubaldo who kindly offered and helped me cut up my steak into bite size if not even though it’s slice it was still eating like a caveman 🤦🏽♀️ thank you Ubaldo! Oh do drop by, it’s a restaurant so price for above was €31 it’s honestly reasonable and nice atmosphere;)
C. M. D.Absolutely gorgeous food at this Italian - so tasty. Very authentic Italian flavour to their meals. The best thing about this restaurant is how it's run/the staff. There is a very quick overturn of tables as the staff are very quick and on the ball to clear tables as soon as someone leaves so you won't be waiting ages in a queue for the table. The food comes out quite fast and the staff are great for coming around and checking your order. 10/10 for both food and service!
S. T.Absolutely amazing! Only thing that I had a hard time with is, why does such a great restaurant have a Nutella pizza? It's just a giant piece of bread with Nutella on it. And why was I so interested in ordering it? Other than the gross dessert, I'm sure they have better ones, the food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing! All the love.

C. M.I have visited many times over the years. We had a family dinner here last night for my moms birthday. The booking process was very straight forward booking online and the team were great to accomidate changes for us when a work rota was changed without warning. We ate indoors, there was a nice calm atmosphere and tables were well spaced. We really enjoyed our food and our server was amazing as always. We all left very happy and full. I am sure we will be back again very soon.
D. O.My favourite restaurant in Cork. Friendly Italian staff and delicious filling food. I love the atmosphere with great ambient lighting and comfortable outdoor seating. The service and food is fast and you are left satisfied. My only issue would be that the menu can be a bit intimidating and the banoffee pie is served in a cup which makes it a bit redundant and hard to eat.

Our kids are really fussy and said it was the best meal ever (and proper food was served to children, no chicken nuggets and chips in sight!), and we had lovely food too, well presented and served with a smile. So many restaurants try to do Italian, but having been to Italy many times, I can safely say that Rossini’s really nails it. Service was excellent and all COVID guidelines were followed for indoor dining. A. M.Great food and speedy service. The bruschetta is a must try especially if you love garlic. I had the tris Rossini and my partner had the Salmon pasta. The flavours in all of the sauces were beautiful though I would recommend some pepper in them. The carbonara was a little oily but still incredibly delicious and flavourful. All in all a great night out.

No request we could make was too much and she worked with diligence and dedication. For my meal I ordered the Capri Pizza. It was simply delicious, the fish cooked to perfection.

Other than that great experience, loved the way the music was low enough that you could hear it and have a conversation. Try the lemon tart.

M. H.This is a nice Italian place, good atmosphere and friendly staff. The entrees are nice, sampled a bit of everything and found the breads and calamaris were definitely their best items, though most of it was flavoured really well. I only tried the fillet Rossini as a main and while the sides were nice, the fillet itself wasn't anything special. Obviously when you're at an Italian restaurant maybe try the pasta or pizza instead.
In terms of the dessert, the triple chocolate cake was nice but a little dry. A bit more ice-cream on the side would overcome that issue, though I must say I'm picky when it comes to chocolate desserts. Their coffees are tiny but the flavour and texture is there.
Overall a good solid place for a mid range priced dining experience.

Waiters are nice also but they're running around like crazy all night since:
1 - the place is way too tightly packed. You can't get to some tables without bumping into another one.
2 - they're way over booked. Had a reservation for 8 pm, but had to wait until 8:20 since no table was available. Order was taken quickly but food didn't arrive until an hour later. Staff is clearly struggling with the load. That being said it was a busy weekend ( jazz weekend) but still it seemed just waaaay overbooked and poorly organized.
As a result of the above it's unbearably loud in the restaurant the entire night. If you were hoping to have a conversation forget about it. Couldn't wait to get out of there and escape the noise. Wouldn't go again

M.We visited on a busy Saturday night. The place was buzzing. But unfortunately there was not enough staff to efficiently serve all guests.
The wait time for the food was unreasonably slow and we weren't the only table experiencing this. My starter of Calamari Fritti was €9 and was the smallest portion of this starter I've ever seen. For main courses the quality of the food was very good, but again the service was poor: a long waiting time for the main courses to come and then not all dishes arriving at the same time. This is a cardinal sin in my book: everyone dining together should be served together. It shows disorganisation or miscommunication in the kitchen.
We have been there midweek before and I think we will be keeping our visits to midweek from now on as the Saturday night experience was just too chaotic.

There is no waiting room, so people were packed inside. And our beer was really hot. Food was ok. I hope they can improve!

Food was good, but I would change every food i tried slightly. For example the meat in the Bolognese was so finely ground it felt like it was made from the cheapest Meat and it offered no mouth feel at all.

After many years for my Husband & I to return with my daughter Vicky.
We both frequented this restaurant many times over the years. But unknown to each. Now new married and with family down we decided on Ristorante Rossini. Princess Street Cork.
Always a busy venue. Booking advised.
We were seated at the window seat by Salvatore himself. We ordered our wine. But luckily for us they were out of it. Salvatore quickly brought two very nice red wines for us to taste. Oh choices, choices. We opted for the Scaia Corvinoa 2016. Exquisite flavours married with heavenly aromas.
We ordered our food.
Stuffed mushrooms. Hello delicious different. Super taste and flavours. Wanted more. But next time.
2 parma & Melon.
Mains Prawn Toscano. Beautifully presented. Fusion of colour and again flavours.
2 penne Arrabiata with the freshest of sun kissed tomatoes. Bottle of very good olive oil with chillies. Hot. Oh yes hot. Just as we like this oil. Poured over penne to increase extra flavours.
Busy, buzzy spot, excellent atmosphere. 40th party going on also. Wonderful clientele. Spotless bathrooms. Team full of fun, smiles. You clearly can see they love working here. Such passion about them. Guess true Italian. Salvatore very kindly gave us copious information re our up coming trip to Tuacany in October. So shall take in board a visit to Assisi & Luca. Do some wine tasting. Well when in Roma. One must.

I can't speak highly enough about my experience, your staff are fabulous and the food was gorgeous. I must say you're very friendly to kids, in most restaurants I have taken my 3yr old the staff were ok, but the way our waiter served us was a credit to you. I think his name was Ger( I could be wrong and I am sorry if I am ) he was just fabulous the way he got ruby involved in our table was just great, he even got down to her eye level every time he talked to her. He took the time and brought out his own earphones so she could enjoy her cartoons on my phone without disturbing the other patrons, He also organised a pancake for dessert as Ruby had asked for one. This wasn't an option on the menu so he went out of his way to ensure we got what we requested. He is an absolute gem and should be commended for his outstanding customer service. It was a joy to dine in your restaurant, the food was to die for and the service was outstanding. I will sing your praises to everyone who will listen and look forward to dining with you again.
