We went in a group, we reserved before. They informed us about the limits by covid when Stefan reserved. Food was very nice. Basically chicken, but also very nice prawns and the had a vegetarian burger. Ask if you don't like spicy as some dishes are very spicy. The Raspberry cocktail was pretty cool. The server was really nice, fun, cool, efficient. She made us laugh several times. I only disliked the mohito cocktail. The music was chill, not too high, as a group looking forward to meet again everything was pretty cool.. We enjoyed a great night!.

EDITED (below is my review but since I was told the tofu isn’t gluten free but it still says it is on deliveroo 😬 so I’m not sure what is actually gf) 10/10 so so impressed. I tried Sober Lane for the first time a couple of nights ago and I was honestly blown away. They have 2 vegan burgers, one is Jackfruit and one is Cauliflower Tempura (I much rather these then the imitation meats, but that’s just me) so happy it wasn’t Falafel burger haha. I’m vegan and coeliac so I was delighted they had a lovely gluten free bun as well as “KFT” (Kentucky fried Tofu), crispy Tofu with a lovely sweet dip. Followed by GF brownie with Raspberry coulis. Really delicious and good value, €12 for burger and chips. Also free cocktail on a Thursday with click & collect 🙌

Food and drinks we so good - Nachos and sex on the beach cocktails in the photos! No pressure to leave. You get your full time and the staff were very friendly. Once our time was up we finished our drinks out the back.

Great lively bar beside the river. A great pint and a simple but tasty food menu. There is always something happening here 7 nights a week. Tuesday nights is the weekly pub quiz hosted by Pat, starts between 9 and 9.30 and is always great craic!

Nice bar with plenty of seating. They do good pizza and have a great selection of beers. On a Sunday every drink you buy will result in a coin toss with bar tender, if you guess right the next drink is free. Place will be packed during sports events, if that's your thing come on down, if not best to avoid until afterwards.

Good pub grub, nice staff. A bit noisey and crowded which adds to the atmosphere. Beer selection a bit limited. I want to go back for the pizza. There wasnt much pulled chicken in the Nachos when added as an extra. Lose a star for that. I'll go back again.

The service can take a while to serve you and they stop serving food just before 10. However all of the nightly events are great fun, with tons of free stuff and give aways, the guys that run the pub quiz night are amazing, one of the beat quiz nights I've ever been to.

Staff was 100% awesome! Our company had a night there with food tonight and when pizza came, I made the joke "where's the gluten free pizza?" (I can't have high quantity of wheat) to which usually staff replies with a nervous laugh and apologizes and tells me they don't have it.... But not Sober Lane! When I made that joke, the dude just turned around and readily asked what pizza I wanted haha he blew my mind lol well done Sober Lane!!

Lovely vegan options: Vegan burger with Impossible Burger patty and nice vegan cheese (FYH I think?) and a vegan pizza option that I haven't tried but once the cheese is good what could go wrong with pizza?! You can tell they know their vegan product!
