Beautiful hotel in a great location. The restaurants and bar areas are very tastefully decorated, the food is fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you would need. Couldn't fault the place at all.

Absolutely loved my experience here. Went for a meal with my boyfriend here last week and couldn't have been treated any better by staff. It's like they knew exactly what I was thinking because they were already on the way when we were ready. The food was also excellent. Starter, main and dessert were perfectly portioned. I hate when a place doesn't give you what you're paying for, but we walked out of there needing a bit if a stroll after over indulging. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

Food is always great at the River Lee. I had giant prawns and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly! I ended my meal with tea and blueberry cake topped with ice-cream! The blueberry cake was warm and gooey. Ice cream was the perfect cherry on top! I would definitely order it again!

We stayed in the River Lee for a few nights. We were served by a lovely guy called Costa. He was so friendly, a great sense of humour, and incredible attention to detail! The restaurant is lucky to have him. Will be back again, thanks for the great service and hospitality.

We ate here tonight. Four ladies needing a quiet catch up with some nice food. Not our first time,we have eaten here several times before and always enjoyed the food and found the staff pleasant. Our waiter who was Polish was extremely helpful and took our order. When the food arrived, I found the chips cold and the fish batter quite flabby and soft.Not inedible, just not very nice. When the waiter arrived, he questioned why I had left half of the meal, so I told him that it wasn't up to scratch, in my opinion. What happened next, was the reason we will return. Instead of scowling at us and being made to feel we were the ones in the wrong, the manager (a young lady) came over with a sharing plate of lovely desserts....she apologised for my disappointing food, offered to replace it and was generally very nice about it. This is excellent customer care and will pay off. Word travels in Cork and I hope this restaurant does as well as it deserves to. I hope the establishment appreciates the two excellent members of staff with whom we dealt with tonight -they are both obviously both well trained and experienced with pleasing personalities.

We had a very nice lunch on the terrace. The English Market tasting board was very nice and also main dishes like fish and chips or Wagu burger were great in taste and portion sizes. Nice service, great location.

My wife and I ate here twice during our stay at the River Lee. We both really enjoyed everything we had (especially the soups), but my personal favorite was the Wagyu beef burger. Also, the service was excellent and the atmosphere and aesthetic inside the restaurant was great.

We had lunch here today and we’ve been so impressed by the food, it was cooked to perfection, and the flavours were amazing. I would suspect there’s a new chef since I last ate here 5 or so years ago. At that point I was not impressed with the brunch but today I am scheduling my next visit before I leave. Service and atmosphere were also perfect. We will be back!

Beautiful covered riverside drinks and small tapa type foods. The setting is unbeatable. Service is unparalleled in Cork. Good Value and underground parking. Hard to find one negative thing to say about it.

We asked the service to receive us after closing time. After negotiations, they accepted. Food (snacks) fresh and very good, although not very plentiful. The desserts are good, a little frugal too. Fast and accommodating service, noisy restaurant, good quality food.

The place is very stuffy and makes you feel dizzy. Chicken is the only halal chicken, but it smells like fat. It is boiled and it says grilled. It comes like half a chicken, but it is grilled without the rice. The risotto is far from Italian food. The ice cream is bad, the worst ice cream I have ever tasted in my life. If it weren't for hunger, I wouldn't be able to force myself to eat it. The first and last time. Of course, all these dishes are 62 euros. The stars alone because I ate. And two things for the employees’ treatment, which is wonderful and respectful.

Staying at the hotel, and after spending the day in town, we ate there. Terrace (covered) along the Lee, very nice. Pleasant welcome, choice of beers and dishes, including specialties. Fish & chips, ordinary, a little fatty, as for the lamb, apparently very good. A good average restaurant at fair prices ;)
