Lovely place! Just we weren't lucky to be seated near the window and it was so cold :( I felt the wind blowing on my hands and legs that made me shivering, hehe. We had to wear our winter jackets on to be able to finish the food. Thanks to a girl who came to us 3 times to refill our cups with hot green tea :D A bit disappointed about sushi - too much rice! Too many shrimp tails... But seafood ramen was excellent, as well as green tea ice cream and cotton cheesecake - best desserts!!! The restaurant was full of people even on Monday evening so pre-booking is recommended. Overall I would come back again, nice place and food.

Wabisabi is one of my family’s preferred restaurant in Cork when we want to eat Japanese food. The pictures below are chicken teriyaki yakisoba, salad, fried squid and fried rice, but all of their menu are great. Another favorite is the Tonkatsu Curry and the Bento Bix

It is really hard to spot on the street. Tables are not comfy. Food portions are good enough and delicious. They are providing green tea. And they are filling up. When you asked for check they are bringing with mint chocolate. It is so thoughtful.

I've been coming back since I have discovered this place, don't remember what year was it, maybe 2016-17, but I'm certain they weren't open long that time and every time I come back it's pure perfection and the flavours are the best I've tried so far in Cork. Sashimi is so fresh as it melts on your pallet and if you feel cold, definitely try one of theirs soups. I will be back

Very nice authentic Japanese place with options for those with a less adventurous palate. Beautifully presented bento boxes with their lunch offer. They were very good with my allergies and changed some items on the Nigiri set no problem. Nice place don't expect real sushi in the traditional sense of it but it does the trick as there's not that many japenese restaurant in Cork. Their ebi tempura sushi rolls and grilled eel are of good quality and consistent. The staff is nice and the green tea is unlimited. Would recommend not extra not bad but does a great night out that is a bit different.

The Wasisabi is easily one of my favorite eat in/ take out experiences in Cork and we get food from there often and would recommend it highly taste wise/ quality/ value wise. They started using a LOT of unnecessary plastic in their their deliveries lately and I've been left with too much recycling refuse for one 2 person meal that's annoyinv to dispose of. Hopefully that can be easily fixed as that would turn me off ordering food from there again.

Chachumen (noodle soup with roasted pork belly) is nice. I would like to expect more from their pork broth soup but so far this is already better than 99% of the places in Dublin. The pork belly is tender enough, can be better. Nice service. Transparent plastic shields between tables and all the staffs wear mask. Oh, the sponge cake portion is big. It is meant to be shared.

Wabisabi has been around for years and I’ve eaten there many many times. The staff have always been very attentive and most of the food has been good or very good, though the sushi quality has deteriorated and would no longer be one of my go-to options.

This place was the best overall restaurant experience I had during my visit to Ireland, in fact it was so good that I went here two night in a row! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Once you sit down you get a free cup of green tea, which a server will refill throughout the evening whenever you want to (they will come to the table every now and then to ask if you want more tea). The food is fairly priced and heavenly. I had the authentic japanese ramen, one of the best ramen bowls I've ever had, and the second night the sushi, which tasted very fresh. I highly recommend this place, anyone reading this review should set aside all doubts, and just go here. You won't regret it!

This is my favorite restaurant in the City Center, almost the only one I go to when there because I'm absolutely addicted to their Salmon Teriyaki Udon noodle. But their bento boxes are amazing too! I wouldn't say the sushi is the best I've ever had, but it is some of the best in Cork. Love the atmosphere and the cute boxes the eating utensils come in!

I've been looking for a restaurant like this since I moved to Ireland / the Cork area, an all around Japanese place that doesn't focus on only sushi. Consistently since opening they've offered a broad menu with authentic Japanese flavours which haven't been watered down over time like some others. Great fish (including sushi), well textured noodles, fancy rice and a good range of vegetarian dishes. Complementary green tea when you arrive and timely refills are another plus! Also in spite of their name (wabisabi implies an aged, worn in aesthetic) they have a minimalist modern setting that seems right out of a Muji catalogue.
