The food was delicious. The soup and dessert was gluten free too. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely welcoming friendly place. Covid certs were checked and recorded but the only issue was some of the staff were wearing their masks under their noses. Food was delicious and service very good. Our main courses came with potato and we also got a side dish of potato included which was we felt unnecessary and would have preferred some vegetables instead. Otherwise a lovely evening and it would have been a 5 star review had it not been for the mask and potato issues.

Wonderful setting, all the dishes we ordered tasted divine. And lovely desserts. The pulled pork sandwich is delicious! Highly recommended. Especially in summer time, the weather is very lovely. I would give it a 10/10! You will definitely enjoy your time here👌😀. The staff is very friendly too, always around to help so there is not much waiting. This restaurant is also suitable for vegetarians as there are vegetarian options. The menu has a variety of foods therefore it is easy to choose what you like. Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and great food. Many thanks for taking care of an item left behind here in 2020, which couldn't be collected due to county borders being closed during lockdown. Drove down from Dublin on 04/07/21 to collect this and had a lovely lunch with my friend. Even managed to fit us in without having made a booking. Will definitely be back. :)

Blue Door Restaurant was busy in the September sunshine and we were lucky to park right outside the door. Food was tasty and economical and was served promptly. All covid measures were in place. We ate outside so weren't asked for passport (covid).

We were so happy that we stopped at the blue door this afternoon. The food was excellent as was the venue and service. Extremely happy with the entire package. Portions were of perfect size, prices were very reasonable and the food was of the highest quality. Outside and in it is very cosy and comfortable. Child friendly too. I recommend the burger and the goats cheese salad. So fresh. Will be back again very soon...

Delicious food and great staff. We ordered the soup of the day, a delightful blend of potato and leek. Warm and crisp bread was served on the side as we waited for our steak and potatoes. Oh how wonderfully cooked the meat and vegetables were! The staff was fit to match. A group of kind and helpful servers were eager to please. Thank you, Blue Door!

Fantastic food in one of the infamous Adare Thatch Cottages. It is a firm family favourite at this stage. It would be my top recommendation for dinner in the village. You really can't go wrong with any choice off the menu, in my opinion. The food is always good and the service is always friendly, which goes along way. Looking forward to eating there again.

Visited last night. I was very disappointed with the main course. Had the duck. More blsck pudding on the plate than duck. Duck was very greasy. Having peeled off the skin about 3 mouthfulls of tastleless duck. My starter which was prawns was reslly lovely. My husband had salmon and it was lovely. I wont be back. Also place wad cold.

Nice and cozy place with good food. A bit touristy. Avoid the booth close to the entrance door. I think the door open and closed over 100 times during lunch. It's noisy and you get the cold wind from the street.

The service is carried out by very young, kind, a little awkward, too little competent for what is expected of a place of this kind. Very good food but microwave heated. Good wine, bad beers. In Ireland you cannot offer me three beers such as: Corona, Heineken and as the only local offer you pass me a cider for beer. At the time of the tasting I twisted my nose and asked for explanations. The answer: To differentiate yourself from other places, these are the proposals. In my opinion, a bad choice especially if it is not said that it offers cider and not beer. Good desserts (Original) Locale molto carino con tavoli anche all'aperto all'interno di un giardinetto privato sulla strada principale. Il servizio è effettuato da personale molto giovane, gentile, un pò impacciato, troppo poco competente per quello che ci si aspetta da un locale di questo genere. Cibo molto buono ma riscaldato col microonde. Buon vino, pessime birre. In Irlanda non puoi propormi tre birre quali: Corona, Heineken e come unica offerta locale mi fai passare un sidro per birra. Al momento dell'assaggio ho storto il naso ed ho chiesto spiegazioni. La risposta: Per differenziarsi dagli altri locali, queste sono le proposte. A mio avviso una pessima scelta soprattutto se non viene detto che si offre sidro e non birra. Buoni i dolci
