We were staying local for the night and decided to eat from Houfu even though it was quiet around it when we were there and we made the right choice. It was excellent the food is wonderful

The food was decent. Being from The United States, it was not quite what I was used to. The portions were noticeably smaller than what we get in America and they had no duck sauce. Chinese restaurants in the US have packets of soy sauce they give you to take with you, but Houfu did not have that. They had a teapot of soy sauce they were able to pour into a small container, but it was not quite the same.

Visited at 11pm on Thursday evening as we were travelling home from an event and needed to eat. So glad we stopped in Adare and found Houfu. Really enjoyed a sit in meal. Excellent duck and sweet and sour chicken. Very pleasant and polite service. Would definitely recommend.

On a hotel break we took the kids there early evening - the place was empty and the staff fell over themselves to make things perfect for us. They helped us choose, and altered dishes as we needed, they were also very good with our cranky children. The dishes were out in a flash and every one was very good. Great experience, well worth a visit.

We ate there this evening on our way to Tralee from Dublin. We all loved out food, it was cooked to perfection. I can't recommend it enough. Will visit this restaurant again when passing through.
