L. W.This is an amazing place to eat, great vibes, really nice people and super food. I fancied some of their calamari on top of their super salad and they whipped it up no problem and at the same price. Food of the Gods… I only wish they opened for breakfast

The beer was served warm & the service was extremely slow, that's why 3 stars.
J. S.Amazing food and great service. I went back 3 times and had the Ahoy Club, the “Irish Benny” (pictured) and a couple of slices of possibly the best Lemon Drizzle Cake I’ve ever tasted. A must-go establishment if you’re near Killybegs.

S.Amazing food. Outdoor seating only due to Covid restrictions but plenty umbrellas. Very heavy downpour the day we ate there but the staff were excellent and kept serving food covering it with trays. Credit due to them for being so pleasant working in the rain. As soon as it passed they dried up any wet tables and brushed away any puddles. They even facilitated customers who wanted to leave as they had pets or young children by giving them their food as takeaways. We stayed and the food was presented immaculately. I had crab toes in white wine sauce and they were the nicest I've ever eaten not a huge portion but it was lunch not dinner and I could have ordered a side if I wanted more. My 8 year old son had a club sandwich and he finished it all. My husband & daughter had pulled beef baps which looked fab. The coffee was perfect. It was our favourite meal of our holidays, enough to convince me to visit Donegal again in spite of the 5 hour drive!!

c. c.After a 20 minute wait (which was well worth it) our family group of 6 were seated in a quiet corner in the garden. The service was prompt and staff very friendly and chatty despite being busy. The food (we had battered haddock, monkfish, calamari and buttermilk chicken) was amazing. My haddock was so good, I ordered an extra portion. The seafood couldnt be fresher. The rest of my party had deserts which they really enjoyed. The locally produced Kinegar craft beers are also worth a try. The menu is also very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend Ahoy.

Kids friendly, lots of space inside, great selection of craft beer and wine, authentic and sophisticated sea food dishes at reasonable price. It's a gem of a restaurant hosted by its owner. Perfect on a sunny day if you're hoping to sit outside. Beautiful garden and great calm atmosphere.

A.I had breakfast here. It was beyond what I expected. Eggs benedict with bacon and pudding. Presented with grilled vine cherrie tomatoes and toasted almonds. I didn't leave hungry. The girls serving the tables were all very present, polite and welcoming.

We liked it so much we came back the second day and had eggs Benedict. Same again! Beautiful! Will definitely come back next time we visit. Thanks guys!

We both went for the mega Breakfast. It was so tasty every item cooked to perfection!! I'd drive all the way back from Wicklow to have a breakfast as special as this anytime 👍

M. R.Yesterday I had the most amazing breakfast I've had anywhere in Ireland (and I've visited all over for years and now live here) at the Ahoy Cafe in Killybegs! The 'mega breakfast' was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced, plus there was no upcharge for tea/coffee and toast which isn't always the case at other places. The various ingredients were high-quality and cooked and seasoned to perfection. The table service staff and staff at the till were also genuinely warm and friendly which just made the whole meal even nicer. I HIGHLY recommend Ahoy cafe for breakfast!!

N. P.Lovely place. staff are attentive but not so much so that they're disturbing your meal. As a vegan with very picky vegetarian children it's nice to have somewhere that offers a couple of menu options for the kids. Would be fab if they had more vegan options beyond their vegetable soup or having to remove ingredients from other meals. Alot of the dishes are chicken or fish but it's a great atmosphere
