Was recommended Kitty's by local friends, and saddened to hear it wasn't in its original location due to unfortunate events, but decided we had to make the trip to Donegal Town to eat here. We were not disappointed. One of the finest meals I've had the pleasure of enjoying in a long time. Everything was flavoured delicately and to perfection. Covid measures were taken with care and consideration for staff and customers. The staff and management were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, while the chef and kitchen staff are excellent, as well as extremely accommodating with dietary requirements. Six of us had a full three course dinner here and every single dish was perfection. I had the squid for starters, with hake for main and the chef whipped up a dairy free and Gluten free berry meringue gratin for dessert. The others had soup to start, steak, halibut and salmon, with apple tart and creme brulee to finish. All devoured with rave reviews. Make sure you take the time to visit Kitty Kelly's, it's worth the trip.

This restaurant is a hidden gem and we could not be happier that we found it randomly. The staff members were both very sweet and kind. We wish we were visiting for longer, we would revisit over and over. The food was decadent, flavorful and very well thought out. We visited hoping for great food, we left with our expectations above and beyond met. We’ve traveled to many parts of the world, and this has been for sure one of the best we’ve ever had.

I'd only eaten in the Killybegs restaurant a few times over the years so was excited when I heard it had opened in Donegal Town. Was not disappointed. Something on the menu for everyone but THE best place to go in town if fish is your thing. My Hake was delicious! Warm, friendly staff and I even got a tour of upstairs to bring back some old memories. A fantastic dining addition to Donegal!

We went to kitty Kelly’s on Saturday night past a party of four. Not our first time and certainly won’t be our last. I went as part of a group that had a number of awkward dietary requirements/allergies and we had an excellent time the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were excellent. Couldn't recommend them enough, will be back again!

The food was outstanding - some of the best scallops I have had anywhere - and the service was downright charming. You almost feel "walked through" the restaurant/evening and the small, intimate dining area makes you feel at home. It is a little on the pricier side, but well, well worth it for fresh seafood and service you will not soon forget.

If your in a fishy mood ! Kitty Kelly is the catch of the day ! for quality and perfection very reasonable priced as well for the standards and superb presentation is just divine, highly recommend trying there sea bass best iv tasted ,generous time given in between courses no rush out for a very business restaurant, friendly atmosphere.

Food is delicious - you can't go without trying the prawns and monkfish! The prices are a little high... 5.50 for a CAN of Guinness is a bit of malarkey. Portions are good but not great. Service was OK. We arrived at 6.15 and were asked to leave and come back at 6.30... could've offered a seat and a drink. We just waited in the car. Had to ask for the bill several times and still wound up waiting an hour. Go once for the delicious food.

I dropped in on Saturday at 6.15pm without a reservation and even though it was booked out, I was given a table in a wonderful upstairs room. The atmosphere is awesome with the low ceilings , different floor levels and numerous rooms with plenty of space between the tables. The starter of Quail and Black Pudding exceeded anything I've had in any of Kinsale's finest restaurants. Main course of a Seafood Platter was top notch. The staff were extremely knowledgable & helpful. I will definitely return to try out more of their fabulous menu.

Sorry to not give a better review because there where a lot of positive but in my opinion the set menu 2 course about 24 3 course I think was 32 was okay. For me a little on the small side more like what you m8ght get in a 6 course tasting dinner. My partner steak was cooked right again sorry on this occasion it was not great
