Lovely ambience, very relaxing. Had a warm slice of Pear Frangipan with cream - perfectly moist and bursting with tangy pear and almond flavours. Can’t wait until the next visit to try something else!

The seafood chowder is among the best I’ve ever had. Huge pieces of seafood and amazing texture and flavor! Others at the table completely enjoyed the club sandwich and the hot chocolate. A wonderful place to stop in for a meal and a cup of coffee.

Lovely cake and coffee. We asked for a table inside and was asked if we had, had or both covid jabs to which we both replied yes, was then asked for our jab card and ID which I thought was great and this was the first time we had been asked for anything like this all week whilst we have been away. Not a bad little find this place was today. Did not know it was there, a d only found as I was looking for something else. Good and efficient service. Good Covid protection. Can't really be faulted, but doesn't reach for the heavens either. It's a good run of the mill cafe. The only complaint I had was the french toast was meant to come with Maple Syrup, instead it was Golden Syrup, not quite the same. Worth checking it out, and they do have some take home goodies as well.

Stopped in for lunch and was impressed with the selection of sandwiches and salads. The food was fantastic, the seafood chowder is a must have and it comes with some of the best bread ever. Coffee was great as well with a nice selection of pastries.

Absolutely superb food and brilliant staff - what more could you want? This café offers great value for money when you take into account the quality of the food. The smoked salmon is to die for! When we went in the second time, there were some special needs young adults leaving. The staff were being so kind to them. Good people, not just good at their job.

This is a really nice coffee shop that also serves beautiful accompanying snacks that are both delicious and also healthy if you want. We saw many European visitors there who saw dishes that they liked and all seemed to enjoy. There are some really nice lunch options with both meat and vegetarian options available. The staff are very pleasant, the cafe is clean and has a nice atmosphere. In terms of value it is reasonable given the quality of the food so for example 2 slices of French toast were €6.50 but they were absolutely delicious and on a bread that was not just normal white but seemed to be a healthier option. Good options in terms of food for children as we'll and if you have a dog, they have some chairs outside with a water bowl as no dogs are permitted inside. All in all highly recommended 😀

Lovely friendly atmosphere staff very helpful and gave us loads of advice about heading to slieve leauge. They told us to keep going when we got to the first car park and go on up in the car i am glad we took their advice. Would tsle an hour to climb it before you were halfway there.
